Where will we automatically go after death if we do not make a deliberate choice?

  1. The universal belief is that (few or many) are going to Heaven and (few or many) go to Hell. (Underline correct answers)
  2. Jesus said “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are (few or many) who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are (few or many) who find it.”Matthew 7:13-14.(Underline correct answers)
  3. What is your definition of sin? ______
  4. According to Romans 3:23 what percentage of mankind commit sin? ______
  5. According to Isaiah 59:2 what are the consequences of our sins and iniquities? ______
  6. If Ido nothing about my sins what does that do to my relationship with God and my chance to enter Heaven after physical death? ______
  7. If I don’t take sin seriously, what is the danger to “wait and see” what’s on the other side of death? ______
  8. Revelation 21:27 tells us that the only ones who will enter Heaven have their names recorded where? ______
  9. Imagine you are standing at the very gates of Heaven. But before you can enter, the Lord asks you what reason you have to claim admission. All your eternity depends on your answer. What will you say? ______
  10. What was the date (at least the year or your age)when you made a deliberate choice to believe that Jesus’ died because of your sins, that He paid the death penalty for you and that by believing this you were forgiven and became a child of God? In other words, when was your spiritual birthday when you were “born again”?______
  11. If you cannot go to a specific time when you became a believer, consider the following witnesses aboutJesus death and resurrection sothat you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life, and know you have eternal life.
  12. The Apostle Paul wrote, 3For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, 5and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. 6After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. 7After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. 8Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time.1 Corinthians 15:3-8
  13. The Apostle John wrote, And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.John 20:30-31
  14. The same John wrote, 1Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has become a child of God. 6And Jesus Christ was revealed as God’s Son by his baptism in water and by shedding his blood on the cross—not by water only, but by water and blood. And the Spirit, who is truth, confirms it with his testimony, 7So we have these three witnesses—8the Spirit, the water, and the blood—and all three agree. 9Since we believe human testimony, surely we can believe the greater testimony that comes from God. And God has testified about his Son. 10All who believe in the Son of God know in their hearts that this testimony is true. Those who don’t believe this are actually calling God a liar because they don’t believe what God has testified about his Son. 11And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life.13I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life. 1 John 5:1, 6-13NLT
  15. Do you know for certain that you have eternal life and would go to Heaven if you were to die tonight?______

If You Answered “No”

If you answered “no”, you can believe and can know for certain that Jesus, who had no sins of His own, took your sins and paid the penalty for you offering you forgiveness and eternal life. This is based on hundreds of first-hand witnesses and God’s witness. Further proof that God is able to give you never-ending life is that He raised Jesus from death and He lives on forever.

God is offering to you the gift of forgiveness and eternal lifeif you willbelievethe above is true.

Do you now believe that Jesus paid the price of your sins and by believing do you know you have everlasting life? ______

If you truly answered “yes”, or have already been born again, you are forgiven and God has received you into His family, He will never leave you,and you will never cease to exist. For it is by God’s grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God’s gift, so that no one can boast about it.Ephesians 2:8-9.

God has said, “I will never leave you; I will never forget you.”Hebrews 13:5b.
