ANNOUNCEMENT: CAMPUS SUSTAINABILITY FUND
We are excited to announce the new Campus Sustainability Fund,a competitive grant program for UW-Platteville Students, Faculty, and Staff to help campus better "meet the needs of the present while also enhancing the ability of future generations to meet their own needs" (the official UW-Platteville definition of “sustainability”).
Fall 2016 marks the first time that this funding is available; funded by University Segregated Fees as overseen by the Segregated University Fee Allocation Commission (SUFAC), the funding will be distributed by the UW-Platteville Environmental Sustainability Committee based upon the competitive process outlined here. We expect to announce this funding opportunity annually with the possibility of two funding announcements in the 2016-2017 academic year. In this, the first year of funding, guidelines have been left relatively open-ended. Expect that these guidelines will be refined in future competitions.
