The Management Coordination Group met on Thursday, 26April2013 at 15H00

The Agenda was approved.

  1. APPROVAL OF THE SUMMARY RECORD OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING (Document 82/2)

The Summary Record of the previous meeting was approved.

  1. MCG List of Actions & follow-up(Document 82/3)

Mr Testoni presented the status of the list of Actions. The table was noted.

  1. Draft Gift Acceptance Guidelines for ITU Personnel and Administrative procedures(Document 82/4)

MrCadet presented document 82/4. The threshold for reporting gifts and other benefits for financial disclosure was agreed at 100 CHF.The document will be revised and sent to the Coordination Committee for approval.

  1. WSIS: BRIEFING(Document82/5)

MrPonder provideda briefing on the preparatory process of the upcoming WSIS Forum which will take place at ITU HQ, 13-17 May 2013 as well as on WSIS+10. The draft Agenda of the WSIS Forum 2013 was introduced.

An overview of the overall review process of the WSIS taking into account was provided. The necessary steps leading towards elaboration of the WSIS+10 Commitment and Forward Looking Outcome Document on WSIS beyond 2015 were reviewed.

  1. WTPF:BRIEFING(Document 82/6)

Mr Maloor presented documents 82/6, providing an update on WTPF-13, which will be held 14-16 May 2013. Around 10 requests from Ministers to make policy statements have currently been received.The updated programme and list of speakers for the Strategic Dialogues are available online. The programme for WTPF-13, Strategic Dialogue and WSIS Forum are being coordinated to offer an optimal experience to high-level delegates and other attendees.

This item was postponed to the next meeting.
