Birmingham based SocialSignIn launches new mobile application to enable organisations to truly connect on a local level.

Until now, whether you are a chain of restaurants wanting to show your new menu to your eager customers, or a police officer wanting to engage with the local community whilst on the beat, large organisations have been hesitant to do this at a local level, instead wanting to control social channels from a central department.

SocialSignIn has launched a new mobile application enabling organisations to engage with their customers like they never have before, along with all the benefits of brand protection and safety, campaign management and reporting that a larger organisation needs.

“Our aim at SocialSignIn is for organisations to become truly social with their customers,

particularly on a local level.” Says Ben Nimmo, Founder. “In so many larger organisations, social media has been about the marketing department publishing centralised content. We believe that employees want to be engaging with customers at a more localised level and our new mobile application enables organisations to do this with confidence".

The new application enables users to publish text and images onto all or selected social media accounts in seconds from an Android or Apple device. Every time this is done, the user is given a summary of what they are about to do and if required, the post will automatically be sent for approval by a colleague before subsequently being published.

Every user is given their own unique access with a full audit trail, which fundamentally provides an organisation with the confidence to extend social media outside of their headquarters. The new mobile application works seamlessly with the SocialSignIn dashboard and companies can give access to mobile phone users within minutes.

SocialSignIn’s clients include Ecotricity, Durham University, Department for Business Innovation and Skills, Staffordshire Police,Hillarys and Sweaty Betty.

SocialSignin is based on Aston Science Park, Birmingham and was founded by Ben Nimmo and Nick Wood in 2012 with its Powerfully Simple social media dashboard.
