Contract Details:
Local Hotel contract rates are for guest rooms for transient business and do not apply to groups or conferences. Group and conference rates must be negotiated separately with each hotel.All the hotels accept major credit cards or will accept a purchase order and direct bill to the University department. When making reservations refer to the U-Wide Contract number.
Most of the contract hotels offer guaranteed Last Room Availability. This means that if they have a room available, it will be offered to you at the University of Minnesota contract rate.
For the contract hotels that do not offer Last Room Availability, this means that they block a percentage of their rooms at the contract rate (based on occupancy demand) and when those rooms are gone, the hotel does not have to offer you the University of Minnesota contract rate.
Rates:
The 2014 rate is a flat $134 single or double, plus taxes.
$30 upgrade to suites based on availability.
Rates may not be available during Gopher Football Fridays and Saturdays.
Last Room Availability guaranteed on contract rates.

Rates Apply to: Employees (business and personal); contractors, consultants, and visitors on University business; and University retirees.
Shuttle services:
Complimentary Shuttle within a 5 mile radius to include:
Minneapolis Campus East, Minneapolis Campus West, St. Paul Campus, Downtown Minneapolis, Metrodome, Bus Depot.
Parking:
2014 rates are $15 for self-parking and $30 for valet. Both have in/out access.
Dining:
The Beach Public House is The Common’s new signature restaurant, giving diners an alternative to the local chain and fast-casual restaurants. It features regional-influenced gastropub cuisine, blending local product and character into a refined menu – all with a strong sense of local identity.
Phone Calls:
No charge for local calls and credit card access. Long distance phone calls are $2.00 to connect and $0.60 a minute.
Faxes are $1.00 per page unless on Club level. (Free on University Club level)

Complimentary high speed wireless Internet access, The Beacon Public House Restaurant, and Starbucks on premises.
