Allison Samp: Sophomore (Ensemble) This is 6th show Allison has been able to participate in and is glad for the opportunity. “It's always so much fun getting to know everyone and being able to entertain the audience!”

Amanda Vallillee: Freshman (Ensemble)Amanda is excited for her first production with Caledonia High School this year. She loves singing and dancing, and was in honors choir through middle school. “I would like to thank my friends for always being there for me, as well as my mom, dad, and sister for supporting and encouraging me. You guys are amazing! Enjoy the show!”

Austin Unseld: Senior (Fredrick Frankenstein) Austin was in a handful of children's plays while in 2nd and 3rd grade, but recently pushed back into musical theatre and plays. He was Danny Zuko in CHS's Grease last year and was in Carrie and JC Superstar at Circle Theatre, then was in a Christmas Carol at CHS. “This is my last show here so hopefully it’s up to the audience’s standards. All my love to my parents and friends who back me up, it’s been rough but I made it!”

Blake Edwards: Sophomore (Steward/Ensemble) Blake has loved being in the theater program, ever sense his mom pushed him into doing Mulan Jr. “I thank her for that because I have had some of the best times of my school career during a musical/play.”

Brent Barry: Freshman (Ziggy) Brent is very thankful to be part of this program and this show. He has also been in the play this past fall. “I would like to thank my family and friends attending this show!”

Brett Schaafsma: Senior (Victor Frankenstein/Tap Ensemble/Dance Ensemble) Brett loves theater. It started his freshman year, and has grown through his four years at Caledonia. “I’d like to say thank you to everyone who has supported me through the often tough years of high school. I am considering going to either Western Michigan, or Oakland next fall, hoping to continue my love of theater wherever I go. I would like to give a HUGE shout out to my friends and family, for supporting me through all of my choices for high school, college, and beyond. I hope that you enjoy this terrific show!”

Claira Hays: Sophomore (Sasha/Sending-Off Woman #2/Mad Scientist Chorus/Medical Student Chorus/Ensemble) This will be Claira's third CHS Players show. She loved being a part of Grease last year and the fall play this year. Theatre continues to make Claira's life 10,000x better and she plans to continue to make time for it. Rehearsals for shows are the thing that she looks forward to most in a day. “I would like to thank everyone for coming out to the show tonight and hope you all enjoy it!

Cole Marvin: Sophomore (Ensemble) Cole is very pleased to be able to be a part of Young Frankenstein (that's Frank-en-Steen). Being new to this school, it's been a blast getting to know people in the cast and he looks forward to being to more opportunities in the future. “Apart from acting however, I enjoy running, painting, playing the piano, and being outdoors. I would like to thank my family, and all my fantastic friends for supporting me these past few months. I hope you enjoy the show as much as I have enjoyed being a part of it!”

Cole Unseld: Sophomore (Monster) Cole is 16 years old. This is his first musical in 7 years. The last play he was in being in 3rd grade. All of his acting experiences have been with his brother. They were Heardman brothers in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever also we played Kíli and Fíli in The Hobbit. “Although in this production we aren’t brothers we are related as creator and his creation. Shout outs and special thanks to mom and dad. Shout outs to Austin my brother. This is his last performance being a senior and I’m going to miss him.”

Collin Schaafsma: Senior (Harold the Hermit/Medical Student Chorus/Ensemble) Young Frankenstein is Collin’s fourth, and final musical here at CHS. “I have really enjoyed all of the time I have gotten to spend with all of these wonderful people.” The shows Collin has appeared in here at CHS include Annie, Once Upon a Mattress, and Grease. “I would like to thank my parents for all of their support, and all the time that they put into the production. I would also like to thank all of my friends! You guys have made the past four years amazing for me! Four musicals, and I still can’t dance!”

Connor Sanford: Senior (The Herald/Mad Scientist #1/The Count) Connor is a senior and very happy to be performing once again, although sad that this is his last musical here at CHS. “I would like to thank my parents for always encouraging me to pursue trying out for the plays and musicals. I would also like to thank his sister for being there to bounce character ideas off of and for putting up with my craziness. I hope you have a wonderful time and enjoy the show.”

Connor Zondervan: Junior (Mr. Hilltop/Ensemble) "I want to thank everyone for their support. This is my 4th high school production and my second high school musical. I am really excited when I am on stage whether it is a lead or ensemble. I will also be auditioning for the civic theater this year for footloose. Enjoy the Show.”

Darcy Shank: Senior (Dance ensemble/Basha) Darcy loves theater and everyone in it. She enjoys running, music and food. Next year she plans on attending Michigan State University. “Shoutoutto the #RatchetCratchits and my supportive family.”

Elise Ryskamp: Sophomore (Ensemble/Medical Student Chorus)Elise has always loved theater and acting with her friends. She really enjoys music and looks forward to being involved with upcoming productions at Caledonia. “Shoutout to her great friends and family, and of course the #RatchitCratchits.”

Eva Ramos: Sophomore(Telegraph Girl/Mad Scientist Chorus/Dance Ensemble/Ensemble) Eva is excited to be in her first high school musical. She has done several musicals before and has always loved to sing and act. “I want to thank my mom for putting up with me and giving me the motivation to try new things. Also, thank you to my friends for keeping my spirits high. I'm definitely planning on trying out for all the musicals yet to come! Enjoy the show!”

Hannah Hullinger: Senior (Villager #1/Medical Student Chorus/Mad Scientist Chorus/Purser/Dance Captain/Tap & Dance Ensemble/Ensemble) Hannah comes to the CHS Players with 15 years of dance training. Her high school theatre experience include, Once upon a Mattress, Annie, Grease, Much Ado about Nothing, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and she is excited to be in Young Frankenstein. She will be attending Oakland University in the fall to major in Nursing. “I thank my family for all their support and love.”

Hannah Miller: Sophomore (Ensemble) This is Hannah’s first year doing a Caledonia High School musical, but has done many musicals before starting in 2nd grade. She likes anything water related, kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, wakeboarding, surfing, and herall-time favorite wake surfing. She plays soccer and loves traveling to warm places. “Young Frankenstein has been such a great experience and I've meet so many friends. Also, thanks to my family who have made me the person I am today, most importantly I want to give praise to my Savior Jesus Christ. And Courtney for being the only one to actually read this.”

Hannah Morris: Senior (Ensemble) Throughout Hannah’s high school career she has now been a part of 7 out of the 8 shows. She has had the most fun being a part of this program. “This theatre program has helped me so much throughout high school. The theatre has taught me who I can be, and how speaking up or being out there can be fun. I am so thankful for the friends that I have found in this program. Thankyou all so much.”

Hans Chelesvig: Freshman (Mad scientist/ Dance ensemble/ Medical Chorus/Ensemble) Hans is currently a freshman who has been part of school musicals since 2009. “Through my life I have never felt more alive than when I am participating in a musical, no matter the role.”

Holly Denouden: Freshman (Ensemble/Mad Scientist Chorus/Dance Ensemble/Ensemble) Holly is excited to be performing in this play as part of the ensemble. In middle school, she was Belle in Beauty & the Beast, and in Aladdin as part of the genie chorus. She also plays lacrosse and runs cross country, and is really enjoying being a freshman here at Caledonia. “Shoutout to my big sister and big brother Katelyn and Lee for being the most ""awesomest"" siblings ever! Philippians 4:13"

Ian Klug: Freshman (Bob/Mad Scientist #4/Medical Student Chorus/Ensemble) Ian has performed in every school Musical/play since elementary school. He is first chair violinist in the freshmen orchestra. So far my favorite parts have been an Ancestor in Mulan, The Beast in Beauty and the Beast, and Bob Cratchit in this year’s Christmas Carol. Ironically I am a "Bob" for the second time this year.”

Jacob Salinas: Sophomore (Medical Student Chorus/Ensemble) This is Jacob’s 4th show here at Caledonia High School, and the most recent of many he’s done in the community. “I'm super excited to get to work with our new director this year and hope you all enjoy the show.”

Jacob Widlits: Freshman (Shoeshine Boy/Ensemble) Jacob is short. This is his first musical and second production with the Caledonia High School Players. “I love to sing and dance with all the amazing people in the musical and enjoy every minute of it. I play two instruments and can’t wait to be a part of this amazing experience.”

Jake Delffs: Sophomore(Ensemble) This year is Jake’s first musical with CHS. “I wasn't sure what to expect, but it's been a great experience. Special thanks to my friends and family for the support.”

Jason Blunt: Freshman (Villager #2/Mad Scientist Chorus/Medical Student Chorus/Ensemble) Jason is pretty cool. Some people think he's a little "wound up" (previous roles include Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast, where he met some of his best friends including the Beast, Lumeire, lovely Belle and Mrs. Potts) but he's really just a guy who loves mashed potatoes. Hobbies include: Fighting the Dark Side, defending Helms Deep, running 3.2 miles at top speed, and waxing on and waxing off. And Jesus comes first, always.

Jessica Dion: Senior (Medical Student Chorus/Mad Scientist Chorus/Ensemble) Jessica has been in theater for seven years now. This will be her fourth and final show with the CHS Players. She looks back fondly on every memory and friendship she's forged during her years as a Player, they are some of her best at CHS. She would like to personally thank every parent (especially her own), crew member, and student involved with these productions, as without each of them these cherished moments may never have occurred. She hopes you all enjoy her last hurrah at CHS. "So long," she says, "And thanks, for all the fish."

Jessica Strayer: Senior (Medical Student Chorus/Mad Scientist Chorus/Ensemble) Jessica is so happy to be a part of the Young Frankenstein musical this year. She also had the opportunity to be in Grease last year. She loves to sing and perform and is especially glad to be sharing this experience with many of her good friends. She is grateful to her mom and dad who are helping with props and working on the set. She hopes that you enjoy the show.

Jordan Howard: Senior (Medical Student Chorus/Mad Scientist/Dance Ensemble/Ensemble) This is Jordan's last theatre performance at CHS, he has had a blast with the cast and crew and has himself worked very hard. “Thank you all very much for your support, friends, family, and especially God!”

Justin Nanzer: Junior (Medical Student Chorus/Ensemble) “I'm just a student who is happy to provide you with some amusement today.”

Katie Lane: Senior (Frau Blucher) Katie has been in every play and musical since her freshman year including playing the Ghost of Christmas Present in this year's play A Christmas Carol

Katie Short: Junior (Medical Student #3/Quartet/Ensemble) This is Katie’s 5th production with CHS Players. She most recently took the stage as The Ghost of Christmas Past in “A Christmas Carol” and as Patty Simcox in “Grease.” This winter she was selected to the 2015 MSVMA State Honors Choir and performed with the SSAA choir at DeVos Performance Hall. Katie also plays piano and draws. One of her drawings will be featured in the 2nd trimester Cal Art Show. “I would like to thank my parents for their support, and acknowledge all the hard work and dedication of the director, cast and crew.”

Kennedy Fite: Sophomore (Transylvania Quartet/Medical Student #1/Mad Scientist Ensemble/Dance Ensemble/Ensemble)Kennedy started at GRCT, and loved being Rizzo last year. “Shoutout to friends, family, and her bud.”

Kenzie Parsons: Freshman (Ensemble) Kenzie is a freshman here at Caledonia, and Young Frankenstein is her fifth theater production. Other shows include Aladdin the musical, Mulan, Aladdin the play, and Beauty and The Beast. “Outside of the theatre I really enjoying drawing and choir. I have always been a really dramatic person even as a kid and I’ve found a way to use that to my advantage. Young Frankenstein has been a great experience and I can’t wait for next year!”

Logan Carney: Junior (Ensemble) “I would like to give a shout out to my family for all their support.”

Mackenzie Curtis: Sophomore (Ensemble) As a sophomore, Mackenzie is excited to be performing in the ensemble for this year's production of Young Frankenstein. “This cast is so much fun to be around and is full of great talent! I have previously performed in the middle schools' musicals, Mulan Jr. and Aladdin Jr. I love to spend as much of my free time as possible volunteering with the horses and campers at Spirit Farms Riding Center at Camp Manitou-Lin. I would like to thank my family and friends for all of their love and support.”

Madeleine Hjelm: Sophomore (Ensemble) Madeleine is thankful to be in her first high school production with these talented people! “Grateful for my amazing family and friends for their support, and Linnea who inspired me to believe in myself. I want to thank God for my ability to be in this production. XOXO.”

Mallory Waayenberg: Junior (Villager/Transylvania Quartet/Dance Ensemble/Ensemble)Mallory has been in theater programs ever since she was in third grade and it has become a huge part of her life! This is her third year preforming at CHS and her 5 show here! “I have played a wide variety of roles in each and have loved everyone! Musicals are not just something we all do for fun but we do them because they are our life and these crazy people become our family! I wouldn't trade my crazy theater family for the world!”

Maria Chase: Senior (Ensemble)This is the third musical Maria has been a part of. She has also been in Grease and Once Upon a Mattress. She is so excited to be in Young Frankenstein and hopes you love it too! “Enjoy!”

Marissa Drew: Senior (Ensemble) Young Frankenstein' is Marissa’s sixth production at CHS that she has been a part of, but only the third production that she has had the pleasure of being on stage for. “I don't think that I would have made it this far without the support of my parents and my friends to push me this far, and also thanks to our director, Nubia for allowing me to be a part of this amazing production.”

Matthew Spees: Sophomore (Ensemble)Matt is very excited to be in the musical this year. Matt and his family has been in Caledonia for 3 years and they like how nice the people are. “I would like to thank my family for supporting mein choir, soccer and musical. I would also like to thank the director and producer for a fun year. I will be looking forward to the next few years in the CHS players.”

Molly Hisey: Sophmore(Tap & Dance Ensemble/Mad Scientist Chorus/Ensemble) Young Frankenstein is Molly’s first school musical performance and she is very excited! She has performed in Caledonia Dance Center’s Nutcracker three times and has been dancing for 11 years now both competitive and performance. “Tap is by far my favorite style of dance! It has been great working with so many positive and dedicated people.”

Morgan Black: Senior (Medical Student Chorus/Mad Scientist Chorus/Masha/Villager #5/Ensemble) Morgan has lost count of all the shows that she has been in. Her favorite roles she's been include the Grand Sultana in Aladdin, the Sour Kangaroo in Seussical, and Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream. When she graduates, she plans on attending GVSU to study to become a physical therapist. She would like to thank her family and friends for all their support on her crazy journey. “I love you all!
