Smooshbook: Grading Rubric
Directions:
Front cover: has name, portrait, dates of birth and death, very neatly done with color (NO white on cover). Printed (in color) or Hand-drawn.
Page 1+2: has a summary of the person’s life that highlights the important moments/events, very neatly written in ink or typed.
Page 3: has a direct quote from the person very neatly written in ink, the name of the person who said the quote, and then in your own words what the quote means.
Page 4: a very detailed illustration of an important event from the person’s life. Hand drawn OR printed from internet is fine. COLOR IS REQUIRED. Include caption.
Page 5: “Five More Facts” Use the internet or a book to research the subject and find five more facts about the person and write them in bullet form. Make sure to cite your sources of where you found your facts AFTER EACH ONE.
Page 6:Answer all 6 questions on handout in complete sentences.
Back cover: heading with your last name, first name, subject/period, date
REMINDER: All writing needs to be in ink or typed and each page needs to be shaded lightly.

B = 40-44
C = 35-39
D = 30-34
F = 29 or below
