This Institute intends to dispose offUNSERVICEABLE ITEMS COMPRISING OF EQUIPMENTS, COMPUTER ACCESSORYPARTS, PRINTERS, ELECTRONIC TYPEWRITER, REFRIGERATORS, VOLTAGE STABILIZERS, FURNITURES ETC THROUGH SEALEDTENDER on “AS IS WHERE IS BASIS” as per details given below.

Tender forms can be obtained from our office by paying a sum of Rs.350/- (Rupees Three hundred fifty only) (Non-refundable) as cost of the tender documents in the shape of a Demand draft drawn in favour of ICAR Unit-NIVEDI a/c payable at Bengaluru. The tender documents and other details are also available on the website . which can be downloaded. However, the tender fee in the form of Demand draft should have been purchased on or before the last date for sale of tender forms which shall be appended to the filled form while submission.
Interested parties can inspect the items for disposal on any working day between 11.00 A.m. and 3.00 pm from 8-2-2016 to 19-2-2016. The completed tender form should be submitted as per following schedule.

1.I am/We are willing to purchase of unserviceable items as advertised/inspected at ICAR-PDFMD,ADRC Campus, IVRI, Hebbal, Bangalore-24 in response to tender enquiry No.5-57/P&S/PDADMAS(NIVEDI)/2015-16 dated 6-2-2016 and hereby offer a maximum disposal value as per Annexure-II.
2.I/We have inspected the condition of unserviceable items before making the above offer.
3.I/We agree to the forfeiture of the earnest money if I/we fail to comply with all or any of the terms and conditions in whole or in part laid down in the tender enquiry referred to above which would constitute and have the force of a contract between us and the ICAR-NIVEDI,Ramaghondanahalli, Yelahanka. Bengaluru-560 064, if I/we are declared as successful bidder.
4.I/We have carefully read the terms and conditions of the offer, particularly regarding earnest money and agree to abide by these in letter and spirit. The decision of the Director on any dispute arising out of the offer shall be binding on me/us.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The ICAR-NIVEDI, Bengaluru propose to dispose offUNSERVICEABLE ITEMS IN ONE LOT COMPRISING OF EQUIPMENTS, COMPUTER ACCESSORY PARTS, PRINTERS, ELECTRONIC TYPEWRITER, REFRIGERATORS, VOLTAGE STABILIZERS, FURNITURES ETC.
Scientific Equipments, Computer accessory parts, Printers, Electronic typewriter, Refrigerators, Voltage stabilizers,Furnitures etc., through sealed bids. Accordingly sealed bids are invited on behalf of the Secretary, ICAR for disposal for the unserviceable items on “as is where is basis” subject to terms and conditions given below. In case you are interested to purchase the unserviceable items you are requested to quote your highest offer in the enclosed Price bid(quotation)proforma (Annexure-II) and submit the same in a sealed cover addressed to the Director, ICAR- NIVEDI), Ramagondanahalli, Yelahanka, Bengaluru latest by 4.00 PM on 20-2-2016. The outer cover should be prominently super scribed with the words “QUOTATION FOR DISPOSAL OF UNSERVICEABLE ITEMS ”. The sealed cover may be dropped in the tender box kept in the office of ICAR-NIVEDI, Ramagondanahalli, Yelahanka, Bengaluru-560 064 for the purpose. The items in question will be available for inspection on any working day between 11.00 AM to 3.00 PM from 8-2-2016 to 19-2-2016 with prior appointment. The visitors/representatives of the firms are requested to sign in the register after inspection of the items.
Terms and conditions:
1.There will be One Lotof unserviceable items comprising Scientific Equipments, Computer accessory pars, Printers, Electronic typewriter, Refrigerators, Voltage stabilizers,Furnitures etc., and will be disposed off as is where is basis and the tenderer whose offer is accepted will have to take them out of our premises.
2.The tender received by the stipulated date and time will be opened at 11.00 AM on 22-2-2016. The representatives of the bidders are free to present at the time of opening of the tenders.
3.THE SALE WILL BE GOVERNED BY THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
(a) Earnest money at 5% of the quoted amount in the form of Bank draft/Pay order drawn in favour of ICARUNIT: NIVEDI a/c payable at Bengaluru is required to be submitted along with the bid. The tenders received without earnest money shall be summarily rejected.
(b) The successful bidder will be required to deposit the amount quoted in full within two days of award of tender. The payment for the sold items will be accepted in the form of Bank draft/Pay order drawn in favour of ICAR UNIT: NIVEDI A/C payable at Bengaluru.
© No complaint about the quality or condition of the items, will be entertained after opening of tenders. The item would be handed over to the highest successful bidder on “As is where basis is”. The Institute shall not be responsible for their usefulness or quality.
(d) The highest successful bidder will be required to lift the item immediately after acceptance of the tender latest by 3 days failing which the EMD will be forfeited, and Rs.500/- per day will be levied as compensation after the expiry of three days.
(e)The ICAR-NIVEDI, Ramagondanahalli, Yelahanka, Bengaluru will pay no transportation charges or any other charges for lifting the item from ICAR-PDFMD office, ADRC Campus, IVRI, Hebbal, Bengaluru-24. The successful bidder has to bear the cost of transport themselves.
(f)The earnest money of the firms whose bid is not accepted shall be released only after the successful bidder took delivery of the sold items.
(g)The ICAR-NIVEDI, Bengaluru reserves the right to accept or reject all or any of the quotations without assigning any reasons thereof.
(h)The tender documents are not transferable.
(i)The list of unserviceable items are indicated in Annexure-1. The amount is to be quoted in the Annexure-II. The bid not received in Annexure-II will be summarily rejected.
(j)The rate should be quoted exclusive of all taxes and duties. All statutory taxes and duties shall be charged extra on prevailing rates at the time of delivery over and above the rate quoted by the bidder and shall be paid by the tenderer in full.
(k)Tenderers must submit their tender in the enclosed form only, duly signed, with the name and address written in block letters. One copy of these terms and conditions duly signed on all the pages must be submitted along with the completed tender form.
(l)The tender shall be completed filled in all respect. The incomplete tender in any particular manner shall be liable for rejection.
(j) The above terms and conditions have been read by me/us and I/We shall abide by the same.
