Hints and Tips for Using Prezi During Your Senior Board Presentation
TO USE A POWERPOINT CLICKER:
1. Log in and open your Prezi as if you plan to edit it.
2. In your internet browser, go to “View” and change the view to “Full Screen.” (Shortcut F11)
3. Hit the spacebar to put the prezi in “show” mode.
4. You should now be able to use the clicker to advance your show.
**If the spacebar doesn’t work, click the blue “show” button in the bottom corner, then hit ESC, then hit the spacebar.
HAVE A BACKUP PLAN:
Just in case the web goes down or prezi.com goes off line, you should save a copy of your prezi to a jump drive just in case.
**If you have youtube videos embedded in your prezi, you will still need internet access to show those.**
When you first see your prezi screen, click on the “Download” button.
This will take a while, but will give you some peace of mind. The files are often quite large. It will download as a “zipped” folder you will need to extract in order to run the show. Practice this, too!
