Chemson extends UK workforceat Wallsend

Chemsona leading manufacturer of PVC Additives with its headquarters in Austria, further invests into theirworkforce expansion at the production site in Wallsend (UK). With Robin Byron - Operations Director, Sean Cockett- Product Manager and Andrew Scurr- Technical Service Manager,Chemson welcomesthe three new specialists that will further strengthen the UK team.

Customer orientation and a balanced portfolio is what Chemsonis all about. Chemson is well known for the expansion of PVC applications by developing innovative formulations on an ongoing basis. After continued technicalinvestmentsat the location in Wallsend over recent years, the focus has shifted to thestrengthening of the local team.

Three specialists to ensure the best quality and customer service:

Robin Byron – Operations Director:

As Operations Director for Chemson Ltd./UK. Robin will ensure best practices and customer orientation at the Hayhole site in UK. Before moving to Chemson in September, Robin has held senior Management and Boardroom positions atdifferent Plastic manufacturing companies within the UK.

SeanCockett – Product Management:

Sean Cockettjoined Chemson on the 1st July 2017 to support the Global team as Flexible Product Manager. Seanhas gathered many years of professional experience within the PVC industry and offers an extensive knowledge about product developmentwithin the PVC industry. Sean who is based at the Chemson UK site, willassume a group role for flexible PVC and related areas. Seanwill also strengthen the local team but also the important integration for Chemson UK within the Group.

Andrew Scurr – Technical Service Manager:

The third member of the new team is Andrew Scurr. Andrew joined Chemson UK at the beginning of August 2017. Andrew has taken the position of Technical Service Manager for UK and Ireland.His experience includes many years of raw material evaluation, processing and testing, technical support to in-house production trials and external customers.

In addition to thestrengthening of the UK team, the site is supported by the Chemson Group,in the areas of Technical Service and Product Know-How. Thus, Chemson UK benefits from the latest developments within the whole group.
