“I'm cheerfully checkin’ in for a few…
Just to chit chat for a minute or two
Sometimes a phone call to see how life’s going
Helps us reconnect with church-friends worth re-knowing”
If you live alone and would like someone from church to call you once a week or so just to see how you are doing, OR if you are willing to call on someone once a week or so- please let the church office know. You can also contact Missy Loyet at . Join the CHEERFUL CHECK-IN ministry!
Already an EvUCC Usher? Want to be one?!
1) Thank you. You are the welcoming, entry point, to our time
worshiping God. Your gift is invaluable and appreciated.
2) The job is amazing, but scheduling is a bear. So we're going to try
something different.
***Look for the display in the lobby where ANYONE can SIGN UP for the times/weeks they want to Usher at EvUCC.***
We hope this allows for schedule flexibility. It will also help us save time from lots of phone calls AND is an easy avenue for NEW people to jump in!
FREE FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT! Friday, January 20th 6:30p doors open/ 7:00 movie begins in the worship center (sanctuary)
Free movie, free popcorn & snacks! Mark your calendar!
PLEASE PICK-UP YOUR GIVING ENVELOPES FROM THE LOBBY BEFORE JANUARY 8TH TO SAVE THE CHURCH THE EXPENSE OF MAILING THEM. IF YOU NO LONGER REQUIRE ENVELOPES BECAUSE YOU PREFER TO GIVE ONLINE, PLEASE LET THE CHURCH OFFICE KNOW.
The Women’s Guild will not meet in January. We look forward to February when we will visit the Highland Home. All members are encouraged to call or visit those who are house bound. It is a good time to make sure we are “all in” as we continue to “Serve the Lord with Gladness”. February will be here soon. See you then.
