Having studied personal computers and internet activity for the past 16 years and having studied the local immigrant population in this area and their travel patterns in this country and this hemisphere, it is my projected viewpoint that in the next 5 to10 years the Western Hemisphere could be invaded by a larger force from the Eastern Hemisphere. There is only one country with a large enough Navy that could possibly carry it off, and that would be Russia with its allies. If you do not think it is possible, then you might think about the larger group of people in Eastern Europe that lived under Russian tyranny after World War II. Their agents are simply a lot of mindless drones that carry out their plans. Well, I am too tired to go through my email, so I will now shut down the primary computer, and I will go to bed soon. On a minor point, when one shows up in North America, and one does not like the mostly English speaking population in North America, there could be up to 2 billion people in the southern Americas that speak different dialects of Spanish, so from what I can tell, if the Russia Navy does make it to our shores in force, more than likely the Spanish will have sold us out here in the Northern Hemisphere. On the politics of the Geo Political game, one has to be familiar with all of the pieces as they are in place at different stages and times of development. From what I can tell, we are mostly dealing with Fifth Columnists. Cheerio from the peaceful side of the Atlantic. How long it will stay that way is opened to debate. CIO

Note:<888> 09/30/06Saturday 4:50 A.M.: Instead of going through my email, I tried to trouble shoot my server problem. Since basically the only thing I have done is change the cable modem which is still the same model that now has a different IP address, and since my computer configuration has not changed, it should have gone online when I got the new cable modem at cablevision this past Tuesday. From what I can tell on Test Your Firewall and the Symantec Port Scan, Port 80 on the cable modem is still blocked although Port 80 shows as being unblocked by Optimum Boost. Thus either the new Motorola Cable modem is defective in terms of Port 80 or the Cablevision provider of Optimum Online has some sort of problem with their system. The only other logical alternative could be that other technology people are trying to sell me another technology such as satellite, but in public housing I am not allowed to have satellite. It basically reflects on technology group such as AT&T which control the internet lines that Cablevision uses versus the Hughes group that controls the satellite technology. Unfortunately in the north country, even if I were allowed to have satellite, one generally does not feel like going outside to brush off the snow off the satellite dish. Although Cablevision does have some violent content, I have been told that the Satellite content is even more violent with such events as gladiator type events in other countries where people fight to the death. From what I can tell, possibly when I went to Radio Shack in Cos Cob recently, I got attention from some other internet user whom has tried to discontinue my Cablevision Optimum Internet activity which has gone on for about 10 years now. It would seem to me, since only about a half dozen regular users use my web site every week, there is really no reason for anyone to have bother me, so it might just be another tech problem at Optimum. From what I can tell, the internet is simply low cost communications, and it is not meant for brain surgery. However, in an area like New York where people are very prone towards law suits, I keep a web log of my activity, so I can deal with any problems should they occur. One has to remember that a great many people try to take advantage of people whom may live in wealthier towns, but with the large number of professionals around here, the most logical problem I would say I have with Port 80 not being opened is that the Cable Modem might be defective. 3% of all computer items are defective in manufacturing and over 25% are returned. Possibly it is some Old Guard type with a modest amount of influence that does not like my www.dell.com advertising links, but that is a common link on the internet, and I have never made any money off of the Dell links. I have read that Dell charges $80 per tech call, so possibly somebody got tired of paying $80 charges to Dell, and got their kicks out of having my Port 80 blocked. Obviously, if Cablevision or Optimum Online can not fix the problem, which I am sure they will sooner or later, I could try some other service, but www.cablevision.com seems to be the best in the area. Knowing a little bit about this technology on the internet after 16 years, if it is not Hughes associates, it is usually somebody connected up with the telephone company. With the large number of foreign nationals in this area, it is possibly one of them up to something, but there is not logical reason for them to bother me. I would think possibly that if there is a problem created by an internet intruder into my system equipment, there would have to be a motive. The biggest crime on the internet is "Identity Theft", so possibly by having it appear that my server is down, they might want to make it appear that I have gone away for a while, so they might try to use that as an excuse for some sort of activity. Basically anyone whom goes downtown in Greenwich, Connecticut knows that I am still here, since I am easily seen as I go about my normal routines. I chatted with Cablevision about the matter, the F.B.I., and the local Greenwich Police, but from what I can tell none of them are really concerned about my internet activity or its disruption or the possibility that some more powerful group like the current domestic government might have shut it down. I went by the George Weston Arnold Bakery outlet, and I bought a six pack of New York Everything bagels for $1.85 and a Entenmann's French Deluxe cheese cake for $2 for $3.85 total. I then drove down by the waterfront by Grass Island, and I drove down by the waterfront on Steamboat Road, and it seems some people have enough time to practice their fishing still. I then went by CVS on Greenwich Avenue, and I returned 8 of the two packs of Sylvania long life bulbs for $16.88 cash refund. I then picked up a prescription. I then went by the Greenwich Hospital Thrift Shop, and I bought a traditional wooden mounted in Old Yankee style mercury thermometer for a dollar. When I returned home, and I put it on the inside back of my apartment door on the left center with a OOK hook. I overheard that next Tuesday, they are going to have their fall preview, but it might be on Wednesday. I then went downtown, and I walked the entire length of Greenwich Avenue and the train station area. I chatted with two retired people about computers and Greenwich. I picked up three copies of the new Greenwich Metro North train schedule. I also stopped by the Greenwich Hardware store on my walk, and I previewed their 70% off section. I checked out all the various discounted flags. They even have a 5 foot by 8 foot Greenwich, Connecticut flag for 70% off its regular price of $111, which would be about $34. I do not have room or funds to afford to fly it. For all I know we are in Greenwich, China, and it is left over from some trip back to the new world. I chatted with another Dutch fellow whom cuts children's hair. I used the bathroom at the senior and the arts center. I chatted with their regular evening staff member. I then went by the Greenwich Library, and I gave one of the reference librarians a copy of the new Greenwich train schedule. At the train station the old schedules are on the right hand side of the ticket counter, and the new ones are on the left hand side, and since they look the same, it is easy to confuse them. The new Greenwich Metro North schedule goes into effect on October 1, 2006. I read P.C. Magazine. The Greenwich Library shows vintage movies in the auditorium on Friday evenings at 8 P.M.. I then went by the Greenwich Automotive Service Center Exxon gasoline station, and I bought $18.01 of premium unleaded self service gasoline at $2.959 a gallon for 113.4 miles driving this week at 19.3 miles per gallon average driving 21 miles per hour. I then went by Val's Liquors, and I bought a 10 ounce bottle of Angostura Bitters for $9.50. They seem to have lots of French wine in their store. I then went by the Stop and Shop, and I bought a cab eye round roast at $3.59 a pound for $8.83, a 100 count box of Splenda sweetener for $5.19, a dozen jumbo eggs for $1.79, a pound of baby carrots for $1.79, and broccoli crowns at $1.49 a pound for $1.31 for $18.91 total. I then returned home. One of my neighbors thinks it is cold for this time of year. The ice skating rink in the back yard is already opened. They have their pile of snow piled up from the Zamboni ice cleaning machine. I took the cab top eye round roast, and I put it on a baking rack in a baking pan, and I seasoned it on all sides with garlic powder, chicken and meat seasoning, ground black pepper, Italian seasoning, and Kraft Bull's Eye original barbeque sauce, and I cooked it in the Farberware convection oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes. For the last 15 minutes, I put an inch of water in a Revere two quart pot with lid and steamer tray with a cup of baby carrots and broccoli spears, and I steamed them on high until the steam began to rise and lowered it to medium high for a total of 15 minutes steaming time. I cut two 5/8th inch thick slices off the cooked eye round of beef on a carving board with a serrated cutting knife, and I put the remaining eye round in a Rubbermaid container in the refrigerator. I put the beef juices from the carving on the two slices of beef on a dinner plate. I put the steamed broccoli and baby carrots in a bowl with a little bit of olive oil on them. I put half of the rice on the plate, and the other half in a Rubbermaid container in the refrigerator. I ate it all with a glass of iced tea. As usual, I washed the dishes. I then did two loads of laundry, and I put clean linens on my bed. I also put $5 on my MacGray laundry card, so I have $13.85 left on it. While doing my laundry, I rotated my summer shirts to the far left of the bedroom closet, and I put my heavier winter shirts at the left center of the closet, and my various pants are on the right side of the closet. I have a lot of heavier flannel shirts that fit me, and since it tends to be colder here from October through May, we wear heavier clothes around here for 8 months of the years, and summer clothes for about 4 months of the year. Today on my walk, I also peeked into the new Vineyard Vines clothing store on Greenwich Avenue where Sam Goody use to be across the street from J. Crew, which seems to have clothes for the younger generation. I will now go through my email. CIO

Note:<888> 09/29/06Friday 1:35 P.M.: I woke up. I chatted with a friend about how the Scottish are allowed to steal horses on St. Mike's day. They are also suppose to pick carrots. I think the horses like carrots. I washed the breakfast dishes. I made my bed. I threw out the garbage. I put out a scent bowl of white vinegar. I have my automobile insurance card ready to put in the glove compartment. I get a new one every six months, when I renew my automobile insurance. I put together 8 of the Sylvania two packs of long life light bulbs, and I will return them to CVS for $1.99 a two pack. I have the receipt. Since that is their price at Wal-Mart all of the time, they are not hard to find at that price, and the current stock that I installed are suppose to last 7 years. I am keeping three 2 packs to have in reserve. I ate a large bowl of Lays sour cream and onion potato chips. I picked up my mail. I will now shut down the primary computer, and I will shower and clean up and go out. CIO
