The company gained interesting experience in the field of waste management and soil remediation in Hungary.Some years ago, it realized a study for a landfill project in Hungary ; since 2003 the company has also been involved in a soil remediation project in Budapest.

Panel discussion with the participation of Mr Kris De Craene
Between 1996 and 2001 Kris De Craene carried out waste management plans for several provinces in Hungary (Jasz-Nagykun-Szolnok) and dealt with application files for European funds from Hungary. From 2001 till 2003 he lived in Hungary and worked as resident twinning advisor (RTA) for a European Phare twinning project Ovam and the Hungarian Ministery of Environment were involved in. Together with other Ovam experts he worked as a consultant for the Hungarian Ministry of Environment regarding the implementation of the European waste legislation. He was also project manager for a Phare emergency planning project. Since 2008 he is working at the Antwerp Port Authority.
