Opening-Mrs. Abello opened the meeting at 7:40. The following members were in attendance: Mrs. Abello, Mrs. Prescott, Ms. Bowers, Mrs. Brennan, Mrs. Carro, Mrs. Weisberg, Mrs. Sattler, Mr. Heller, Mrs. Heller, Mrs. Singer. The minutes were reviewed and approved with some corrections. Mrs. Sattler made a motion to approve the minutes with some corrections and Ms. Bowers seconded the motion.
New Business
School Improvement Plan- Family And Community Engagement (FACE)- Mrs. Abello explained and reviewed the new section of theschool improvement plan.
School Unified Dress code process- Mrs. Abello reviewed the process one more time and asked the committee to make motion to approve informational date (s) and voting date. The informational date will be on March 22 in the morning from 8:00-8:30 and in the afternoon from 2:15 to 3:00 in the auditorium. Voting for unified dress code will be the week of April 3-7. Mrs. Sattler made a motion to approve the informational dates and the voting dates. Mrs. Singer seconded the motion. In addition, the PTA will have a family night event on March 31st, which will be an opportunity to share information with parents.

Principal update- Mrs. Carro shared the following:
At this time, there are two camps taking place, Language Enrichment Camp (LEC) and FSA-Reading. Soon Saturday camp will start.
Chipotle Night- SPE got 50% back
Jump Rope For Heart- more information will be coming
PTA- a general meeting is scheduled for March 31st. This meeting is to nominate members for the PTA committee for next school year.
Testing dates- 4th and 5th grade: Writing Test on Feb 28th , 3rdELA: End of March (paper based), 4th and 5th grade ELA and Math: after Spring break, and 5th grade Science: in May.
