An industry comment period begins today, May 13, 2005 and ends on June 13, 2005 for three WGQ recommendations prepared by the Contracts Subcommittee:
Recommendation R04028 and 2005 Annual Plan item No. 10 – Amend WGQ Standard 6.3.1, Base Contract for Natural Gas, to allow alternative cover page.

Recommendation R03033 – Request to Amend WGQ Base Contract to include an alternative dispute resolution agreement as a special provision.

All interested parties, regardless of membership status within NAESB are eligible to submit comments for consideration. The WGQ Executive Committee will review these recommendations and consider them for vote as NAESB Wholesale Gas Quadrant (WGQ) standards or interpretations on August 25, 2005, and in that consideration will review all submitted comments.
All comments received by the NAESB office by end of business on June 13th will be posted on the Home Page (http://www.naesb.org/request.asp) and forwarded to the WGQ EC members for their consideration.
