POOL RULES AND REGULATIONS

POOL HOURS

8:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. Sunday through Saturday

Pool gate is to be locked at all times when the lifeguard is not on duty. Please lock the gate after entering and leaving.

LIFEGUARD IS ON DUTY FROM:

1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The lifeguard shall periodically walk around the perimeter of the pool and will make every attempt to be aware of each individual swimmer. Parents are to keep a watchful eye on their children at all times and to alert the lifeguard immediately if assistance is needed.

LIFEGUARD IS NOT ON DUTY:

During bad weather and selected posted days. If the weather is questionable, check with the lifeguard before dropping off children.

a. Children under age 8 must be accompanied by a parent or an individual over 18 years old, including when the lifeguard is on duty.

b. Children 8 years of age and older may be dropped off at the pool area when the lifeguard is on duty at the parent’s discretion. If a child does not behave appropriately, this privilege may be removed on an individual basis. The lifeguard’s responsibility is for the safety of swimmers, not to handle unruly behavior.

c. No one under the age of 18 is allowed to go swimming without a lifeguard on duty, unless accompanied by a parent or individual over the age of 18.

A notice will be posted in the pool area stated the date and time of the gathering. Parties are limited to no longer than 4 hours. No parties may be scheduled on Sundays as this is a family day. A lifeguard is required and must be Red Cross certified. The expense of the lifeguard is the responsibility of the sponsoring member. During regular lifeguard hours, an additional lifeguard may be required for liability purposes.
