Sewing Group KS
Eden Timebank Sewing Group is well into the new year with its sewing projects. We meet every other week in Winton. Everyone is of different abilities and doing different things. If you are interested in joining in whatever your ability and enjoy light hearted company and would like to share your own skills or learn some new ones please give Carole a ring at Eden Timebank for more information.
Sewing Group Penrith
Eden Timebank would like to set up a sewing group run at Rowan House St Andrew's Place, Penrith in the near future.We will have a few electric sewing machines for you to use/learn how to use.
If you are someone who sews (hand or machine) or would like to learn and would like to meet up with others of the same mind contact us and we will put a group together.
Swimming Buddies KS/Appleby

Baking for KS Coffee morning
ETB are looking for people to occasionally make a cake or a few biscuits for the ETB Coffee Morning in Kirkby Stephen. If you could kindly help please contact Carole
Display boardEden Timebank would like someone who can offer skills to make headings and flyers advertising ETB and display them on a board for publicity. This is a folding display board for use in all three hubs so I can deliver/collect it and any paper and equipment etc needed or you can come to Rowan House or Winton to work on it. Getting healthy buddy
Are you trying to loose weight and / or get healthy? We have a time bank member in Kirkby Stephen who would like to find someone she can get together with to find encouragement in getting healthy together and hopefully loose weight eventually. Kirkby Stephen Visitors Centre would like to add to the list of volunteers they have to man the centre in the middle of town. Walking group “Dawdles walking Kirkby Stephen
Walk leaders are having training at the beginning on May and these walks will start soon after watch this space for more details. If you would like to train to lead a small group please contact Carole as soon as possible to do this course. They are low level walks to encourage new people to enjoy walking as an option so you don’t need to be a regular walker yourself; you just need to feel you wish to give it a go and meet new people.
