9:05 AM Leaders Meeting called to order by President Sue Kamphuis.

Pledges: Lead by Jackie Luedtke.

Group Building: Lead byKaren Holzmann. Attendees were asked a series of questions in which agreement with the statement required person to sit down. At the end all were standing in unison for being united as 4-H Volunteers.

Learning/Resource Sharing: Lead by Paige LePine and Shelly Oswald. Activity showing how information is conveyed i.e. posters, social media. We want our 4-H events to get noticed. Spread the word about the good things 4-H has to offer.

Treasurer’s Report: (Report on Agenda March 14, 2015) Reviewed and accepted: Cindy Koffman 1st, Sue Buechel 2nd

Youth Report: Lead by Allison Opheim. “Who is Smarter Than a Horse Project Member?”

4-H Rally: Lead by Denise Retzleff Brainstorming on ideas of how to build rapport with other clubs.

County 4-H Policies: Lead by Kimberly Carey. Discussion about updated language in policies and feedback from Fair Board about potential fair entries

Discussion: Proposal to all those who re-enroll by October 31st to add a project until January 31st and still exhibit that project for a premium.

Reviewed and approved as originally proposed: Sue Buechel 1st, Deb Senn 2nd. Vote was not unanimous.

Cloverbud Scrapbook language modified to remove review by General Leader and changed to club review.

Copy of Revised 4-H Policy Discussion changes to take effect Fall 2015.

Raffle: Lead by Sue Kamphuis. Cream Puff tickets are available.

Fond du Lac County Agricultural Society: Lead by Bridget Schaumburg and Matt Immel. Board members are willing to speak to 4-H Clubs to discuss topics such as communication, solicit feedback, on-line entries, etc.

Fair Food Stands: Lead by Allison Opheim and Judy Straub. TLA Food Service sign-up sheet. Sign-up for Fair Food Stand times.

Silent Auction: Lead by Cindy Koffman. Please continue to provide baskets. Help in soliciting and picking up donations would be appreciated.

Club and Group Charters: Lead by Rose Petrie. Review of annual requirements for Club Charters. Every club had representation at the annual training and met the deadline.

State Fair/4-H Foundation: Lead by Cindy Koffman. Extension Day at the Fair August 11th. Proposal to rent a bus to transport members to State Fair.

Governor’s Meat Product Auction. Request is for each county to assemble a basket that promotes tourism. Deadline June 1st for items to Cindy.

Buying Group – Goal is to get $5,000 donated from Fond du Lac County. If we hit the goal, we get $500 worth of items/passes, etc for 2016 State Fair. Total goal is to raise $200,000 to support State 4-H Foundation.

Proposal to obtain a bus to go to State Fair by Cindy Koffman. Susan Buechel 2nd. Bus will be funded by attendees.

Fundraiser for New Horizons. Lead by Sierra Evans. Dips $5 each, popcorn$5 each, t-shirts.

Capitol Connections (April 30th): Lead by Denise Retzleff. Opportunity to meet with local elected officials to share information about UWEX. There is no cost to attendees.

Thrivent Action and Mutual of Wausau Grants: Lead by Denise Retzleff. Mutual of Wausau Grants available up to $400. Thrivent Action Grants available up to $250.

Announcements:

Badger State Buddies Books and Cookbooks – price reduced to $4.

MS Walk posters available. Looking for photography students to take pictures during the event for possible future publication.

Nominations available for Hall of Fame due before next meeting. Executive Board will discuss

Next Meeting: Wednesday, August 19th. Fair discussion at 6:30 PM. Leader Association meeting at 7 PM. Refreshments to be provided by Hands of Friendship, Spring Valley, and Pickett.
