Report Cards in EdAccess (EA+)

·  Log into EdAccess like you do for attendance

·  Click on My Gradebook

·  You may need to adjust how your names are displayed. To display full names, click on Display Options > Student Displays > Choose how you want your name displayed

·  If you are using the gradebook and have hidden some of the ungraded skills, you will need to show all skills (Display Options > Select Skills for Display)

·  Choose Select View All Skills > Save

·  To start entering scores, click on the first skill next to Reading

·  To Mass Assign 1 2 3 or 4, click on the drop down box

·  Make any changes to the students’ marks for that skill

·  To go to the next skill click Save > then click Next

·  Continue progressing through all the skills on the report cards

·  If you are using the gradebook to organize individual assignments, you will see your assignments listed next to the skills.

·  If you would like to input scores for each individual student, you can click on the student’s name from the main page

·  Enter the Scores for Skills


Comments

·  To add comments to the whole class, from your gradebook’s Main Page, click on Comments > Choose the trimester and click on Post Comments

·  For generic comments, put the number code in the box for a student

·  To Mass Assign a comment for all students, click on the number in the drop down box

·  To add freeform comments, type or paste the comment in the Freeform area. You won’t see the whole comment, but it will appear for the student.

·  When finished SAVE the page

·  To add comments individually, click on the student link from the Main Page

·  Click on Comments

·  Click Edit Comment

·  Choose comments from the drop down menus or add your freeform comment. You can copy and paste into the box.

·  Save each students page before moving onto the next student.

·  To access the next student, click the drop down box to see your class list.


Printing your report card for first trimester

·  Your report cards will be due the Monday before giving them out so that your class report cards can be printed to the Data Center in Everett.

·  If you need to print a report card individually, click Reports > Standards Report Card from the Main Page in your gradebook

·  Click Report 900 and then choose the students you want to print and then click Print

·  Let the report card process in the Print Queue > click OK to open the PDF

REMINDER

·  If you are using EdAccess as a gradebook, please make sure that you UNCHECK the Post to Family Access and Post to Student Access boxes when adding Events (Assignments)


To Add Test Scores

·  Log into EdAccess > Click Gradebook > Click Other Access > Click Test Scores

·  Select the Assessment > Click Score All Students

·  Put in the scores and click Save (these scores will be transferred to the report card beginning in Winter 2009 on SSD’s custom report card)
