GUIDELINES FOR CONTRIBUTORS TO THE BOOK

The paper with an abstract to be submitted to the editors on or before 28 February 2007 to e-mail addresses: , and .

  • Title, name, position, organisation and a short biography of each author to be submitted along with the paper.
  • The paper should cover recent research related to the main theme of the book. Joint papers written by scientists and executives are welcome.
  • All material to be submitted on hard copy and via email (as attachment) convertible to Microsoft Word.
  • All material to be double-spaced, typed pages.
  • Authors must include signed permission granting the use of material owned by organizations if such material is included in the papers.
  • If any clarifications are required all questions should be directed to the editors by e-mail , and .
  • Any references to other publications must be in Harvard style, which is shown within the text as the first author’s name followed by a comma and year of publication all in round brackets – Example (Taylor, 2001). At the end of the paper a reference list in alphabetical order must be given as follows:

1. For books: Surname, initials, (year), title, publisher, place of publication

Example – Taylor, A. (2001), Tourism Trends in the Caribbean, Macmillan, London.

2. For journals: Surname, initials, (year) “title”, Journal, Volume, Number, pages

Example – Brown, S. (1999), “Professional Development of Managers: The Key to Success in Hotel Operations”, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, Vol. 11 No. 1, pp. 43 – 51.

  • Topic to be around 10 – 15 words.
  • The length of the paper to be between 5,000 – 5,500 words (25 – 30 double-spaced, typed pages).
