EXPERIENCE

Wood Group Production Services / Baker Energy September 2008 – Present

A-Operator on BP’s Horn Mountain Spar (MC – 127) Duties included MMS testing, maintaining water injection system, testing of oil & gas wells, facility maintenance etc. I am familiar with Maximo Data Base and “permit to work” systems.

I was then brought in as a Project Manager in the Lafayette office for Baker. In this position I was responsible for working with a single client in maintaining staffing for a Deepwater facility as well as staffing personnel for the client’s newest deepwater project going into the Gulf of Mexico. My responsibilities included finding personnel that are competent and qualified as well as having USCG marine licenses.

Due to a down turn in work I was forced to go back into the field. I went on the Helix Producer I “Phoenix” Project which is the first ship shaped FPU in the Gulf of Mexico and first offshore facility in the GOM to have a DTS (Detachable Transfer System). I worked on the project while it was in the shipyard during the construction phase and sailed out with it as part of the Commissioning / Start-up team. Upon receiving COC from the U.S. Coast Guard and approval to come on line from MMS, the vessel was contracted to bp to flow the MC-252 Maconda well where I worked as a control room operator.

After the Maconda well was successfully plugged, we returned to the GC-237 Phoenix field and went on to make first oil in October 2010. I currently work as a control room/sub-sea operator.
