Associated Material / The tml provides that the BBC logo must appear not only on the product but also on “Associated Material”. This is defined as “packaging material (including if appropriate stickers inlays and sleeves) and paper-based, on-line, non-interactive TV, cinema and in-flight promotional material, which are produced for the purpose of advertising and marketing the Products”. -  ends either (1) when the licensee’s exploitation rights (plus any sell-off period under the Main Agreement) end or (2) when the BBC’s rights in the programme (plus any sell-off period under the trade mark licence*) end – whichever happens first.
* General Term 7.6 sets out the conditions which must be fulfilled if there is to be a sell-off period under the trade mark licence. Note that no new products may be created during that period.
