GREEN BUILDING INDIVIDUAL AWARDS

NOMINATION GUIDE

1.objective(S)

At least 80% of the buildings in Singapore to be green by 2030” – this is one of the key targets set by the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Sustainable Development (IMCSD) for Singapore’s built environment. Since Singapore embarked on its green building journey in 2005, the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), together with the Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC) which was launched in 2009, have been working closely with the building and construction industry stakeholders to accelerate and drive the greening of our built environment through a concerted private-public sector partnership.

TheGreen Building Individual Awards is to accord recognition tolike-minded individuals, from across the building and construction value chain, for their consistent contribution and outstanding achievements in this challenging yet fulfilling journey towards greater environmental sustainability in the built environment. This goes a long way in raising the profile and ensuring the retention of capable professionals and practitioners in the industry.
