Responsibilities:

Order Creation/Planning and Forecast Management System

  • End to End Supply Chain Processing (Order Entry till Order Delivery)
  • Placing customer’s order through the following ways:
  • Sales Quote
  • Purchase Agreement
  • Via EDI
  • Work with Sales team to place sample orders for NPI build
  • Major role in handling Forecast Management System
  • Analyze on the forecast received from customer on weekly basis
  • Interacting with customer on the drop in demand/increase in demand
  • Interacting with EDI support team for any error in forecast transmission
  • Contact master planning analysts and work with them on daily basis to maintain inventory in Global Inventory banks.
  • Adding/removing devices to forecast management system based on customer’s request
  • Supporting weekly request from the end-customer by maintaining the stocks with buffer quantity within the min/max level
  • Analyzing Shortage report to work on minimizing shortages on the weekly basis

Maintaining 3PL Shared Inventory and Consignment Program

  • Conducting an audit (Logical Audit) each week to ensure the inventory reported at consignment locations matches what Freescale systems are showing
  • Logical Audit done to correct inventory levels as incorrect inventory levels may cause supply issues
  • Load the completed weekly audit to the Dashboard for Audit Purpose
  • Educate customers through weekly calls if the mismatches are caused due to customer

Customer Quality Incidents /Credit and Debit notes

  • Work with Product Quality Manager for any quality issue requests raised by customers and arrange for return of parts back from Customers.
  • Work with pricing team for any price discrepancies and arrange for credit /debit of money based on the issue. Follow up with Finance team till the issue is closed both from customer’s end and finance end

Product Planning

  • Managing the Demand Vs Supply spreadsheet and recommending the required pull in or push-out on ship dates to planner.
  • Verifying if the customer parts are allocated for next week shipments and take action with planners if the parts are not allocated
  • Expedite with planners and follow up closely for those orders which has no finished goods available and which require immediate Pull in requests from customer.
  • Work with planner on monthly basis for lead time changes and the replacements parts.

Logistics Management

  • Arranging for Direct International Counter-to-Counter or Counter -to-Airport delivery to customer based on the urgency.
  • Analyzing the supply of finished goods, makes inquiries on the status of the parts under testing, monitors the pick process, and conducts manual picks, where necessary on request.
  • Experience across a range of logistics functions including transportation and distribution with a diverse group products and services.
  • Working with logistics team and ensures the soft copies of “Invoice Copy” is sent to customer post the shipment.

Inventory Management

  • Review mismatches and resolve where ATP (Available to promise) is available or sufficient Finished Goods are on-hand
  • Update and issue customer inventory report
  • Raise activities for movement of inventory from one place to another place to ensure the parts are in right pick banks before arranging shipment.
  • Raise activities and perform reversal of any picked orders which require cancellation based on customer’s request,
  • Raise activities for holding any orders to avoid delivery rejection due to non-receiving dates from customer’s end due to public holidays.
