2016 Beef Queen and Beef Princess Contest
The Warren County Cattlemen’s Association in now accepting applications for the
2016 Beef Queen and Beef Princess.
** Contestants MUST be involved with Cattle in some way!
Queen and Princess contestants need to be in 9th – 12th grade during the
2015/2016 school year.
Queen will be awarded $250
Princess will be awarded $125
Applications are due By July 8, 2016 and must be sent to:

Warren County Cattlemen’s Queen and Princess Rules
Please remember you are representing the Warren County Cattlemen’s Association and its members; also your family and the beef industry.
Keep up on any current issues associated with the cattle business and consumer issues. You should be able to answer questions from consumers on how to cook beef and any issues they may have concerning beef in general.
Your Dress Code: You will be in the public eye and, hence, you will be
setting an example youth within Warren County and the State of Iowa.
Guidelines: Dress slacks, dress shirt, jacket or skirt are all
acceptable clothing. (No belly shirts, t-shirts, mini-skirts or shorts.)
Jeans are acceptable, in good condition with no holes or slit legs. If wearing
a skirt, it should be knee length or longer. Be conservative.
Functions the Queen/Princess should attend:
· Warren County Fair Beef Shows –hand out ribbons
· Warren County Fair Beef Sale – help with posting animal weight
· Warren County Fair Beef Stand – work a shift and help as needed
· Warren County Cattlemen’s Steak Fry – help serve
· Cattlemen’s stand at State Fair on Warren County’s Day
· Work in Beef Council Industry Booth @ Iowa State Fair … handing out samples of cooked beef
· Any other Warren County Cattlemen function
Please promote beef! Attend other functions when possible: Beef Expo, other county fairs, purebred cattle functions. The possibilities are endless. Just be sure to wear your crown and sash. SMILE AND HAVE FUN!!
