Summer Workshop: College U.S. History

If you are planning on enrolling in College U.S. History, this summer workshop is highly recommended; there is a teacher-guided summer assignment. The workshop is two hours andis open to all juniors and seniors planning on taking College U.S. History for the upcoming school year. The workshop will focus on preparing students for college-level coursework. In addition, students will create both a textbook account and Schoology account. Also, students will sign up for college admissions; the transferrable college credit for the class is through Mt. Hood Community College. Students will also complete a summer assignment that will incorporate college-level study skills such as reading a college textbook and outlining for college writing. Workshop dates: July 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, OR 19. YOU ONLY NEED TO ATTEND ONE DAY! This workshop is critical for being prepared to start the course on the first day of school; the expectation is that all students are fully prepared for the first day of class with all summer workshop requirements completed.
