Math: Use the flashcards 0-10 to practice one more and one less than a number. Module 6 Test is tomorrow! It will be over sequencing and comparing numbers 0-10.
Reading: Race Read the sight words, read the Pp Sound Out Words, and complete Day 1 of the Fluency page.
Handwriting: Trace and write capital P on the backside of this homework sheet. Please make sure your child is forming the letters correctly. It is very important that the letters are touching the lines correctly. They will be graded with and S (satisfactory), N (needs improvement) or U (unsatisfactory) on their handwriting of the capital P tomorrow.
Enclosed in your child’s bradded portion of the Red Study Skills Folder is a letter explaining how I will be doing Guided Reading. We will start using Reading Logs tomorrow, since this is a four-day week. Please be sure to sign this on homework reading story days. I will start homework writing journals next week.
This week I am sending home a list of Pp Sound Out Words. It is in the bradded portion as well. This will change weekly. Please have your child practice these words throughout the week. You can also use the lettercards and have your child build some of these words on the sound boxes in the folder and practice sounding them out. Thanks for your help and support with this. Math: Count to 50 and practice flashcards 0-20.
Reading: Review the alphabet linking chart, Race Read the sight words, complete the Day 2 of the Fluency page, read the list of Pp Sound Out Words, and read the guided reading story. Please be sure to return these. / Parent Signature:

Math: Review the skills on the new study skills sheet.
