Draw a car using rectangles, squares, and circles. Color the square red, the rectangle blue and the circles yellow. Practice reading your focus poem with an adult. / Skills for the week:

Word Family: Letter sounds: /k/ as in kite, /l/ as in lion, /m/ as in mouse, /n/ as in net, /o/ as in open and octopus

Math: Two dimensional and three dimensional shapes
Science/Social Studies: Friendship
Character Education Word: Punctuality
Big Book: Golden Bear
Focus Poem: “Humpty Dumpty”

Draw two things that you can do to help a friend. Practice reading your focus poem!
Wednesday:
Please go over your child’s work samples that are in this folder. Sign and return the signed paper cover sheet. You may keep the work samples.
Thursday:
Make a sail boat using triangles. Make a fish…What shapes could you use? Color them your favorite colors. Practice reading your focus poem.
