Cuyo Islands / 15 NOV 13 AM / Little - no damage / Some minor damage visible on some of the very small buildings but for the most part buildings and infrastructure intact. Fishing activities continuing unimpeded. No visible signs of distress amongst the population. Jetty and harbour facilities intact and functional. Small airfield intact and functional. Evacuation centre visible(note- did not appear overcrowded). Aerials/ communications masts intact.
Maracanao Island - North of the Cuyo Islands / 15 NOV 13 AM / Minor damage / Around 50% of the smaller buildings suffering damage to roofs but the rest of the structure intact. Repair work underway. Numerous felled trees. Damage to harbour facilities but jetty intact and fishing activity continuing.
Sibay Island / 15 NOV 13 AM / Little - minor damage / Lit fires on hilltops sighted. Numerous trees felled. Some of the smaller buildings missing roofs but structures largely intact. More robust buildings appeared unaffected. Roads open. Telecommunications masts intact.
3 x Small Islands SE of of Semirara Islands / 15 NOV 13 AM / Significant damage / All of the buildings appear to have sustained damage. The thatched buildings are almost destroyed whilst those built using corrugated/ sheet metal are largely intact. Many boats wrecked but fishing activities continuing. Several trees felled. Evidence of flooding.
Caluya Island / 15 NOV 13 AM / Little - minor damage / The majority of buildings have suffered little to no damage. The roads are open. Fishing activity continuing unimpeded. Telecommunications aerials/ masts intact.
Semirara Island / 15 NOV 13 AM / Little - no damage / Factory intact and functioning. Port capable of handling ships in the region of 200m long intact and functioning. Local population continuing with pattern of life expected.
NW Tip of Panay & Borocay Island / 16 NOV 13 AM / Little - no damage / Airfield intact and functional. Roads open. Electricity pylons intact. Telecommunications masts intact. Some trees blown over, very little damage to small minority of structures, almost all others undamaged. Population was seen conducting normal activities including leisure activities such as kite surfing.
Carabao / 16 NOV 13 AM / Little - no damage / Minor damage to buildings with most structures still intact. Pier/ jetty still intact. Telecommunications aerials still intact. Population carrying on with normal pattern of life. Some damage to the sea wall adjacent to the cemetery.
Romblon / 16 NOV 13 AM / Little - no damage / Harbour facilities intact and functioning incl small RoRo ferry use. Local infrastructure incl functioning quarry works still intact. Little or no damage to buildings. Roads open. Telephone pylons/ cables intact. Population continuing with normal pattern of life.
Santa Fe & other areas on Tabalas Island / 16 NOV 13 AM / Little - no damage / Evidence of flooding but most buildings intact, roads open and infrastructure functioning. Airfield functioning. Telecommunications masts intact.
Sibuyan / 16 NOV 13 AM / Little - no damage / Telephone cables/ communications aerials intact. Roads and bridges open. Port facilities intact and functioning
Odiongan / 16 NOV 13 AM / Major damage / Jetties and harbour infrastructure heavily damaged and only partly functional. Significant- major damage to most buildings and structures. Most buildings missing roofs. Some roads blocked.
Estancia / 16 NOV 13 AM / Major damage / Jetties and harbour infrastructure partially damaged but functional. Many boats washed inland. Many trees felled. Most buildings suffering heavy damage/ missing roofs. Main roads appear open with bridges intact. One leaking oiler/ fuel lighter moored in harbour with boom rigged.
Kalibo to Roxos / 16 NOV 13 AM / Significant damage / Significant damage to most buildings with many missing roofs. The more robustly built structures are intact. Some evidence of flooding. Many boats washed inland and many trees felled. Harbour facilities between Kalibo and Roxos intact and functioning though several wrecked craft fouling the approach. Roxos port intact and functioning. Airport at Kalibo and Roxos intact and functioning. Major roads open.

Some evidence of flooding. Many boats washed inland and many trees felled. Port and refinery facilities intact and functioning. Telecommunications masts intact.
Around Sapian Bay to Ivisan / 16 NOV 13 AM / Significant damage / Evidence of rainwater flooding in surrounding fields. Trees felled. Major roads open. Bridge intact. Significant damage to 70% of buildings.

Pilar and surrounding area / 16 NOV 13 AM / Significant damage / Major roads appear open. Significant damage to buildings/ dwellings and infrastructure though telecommunications masts appear intact. Numerous trees felled and numerous boats washed inland.
Roxos to Pilar / 16 NOV 13 AM / Significant damage / Signs of flooding. 50% buildings suffering structural damage such as loss of roofing. Smaller buildings/ dwellings flattened. More robust buildings intact. Harbour facilities intact and functional (able to support vessels around 200m) . Fuel depot in Roxos and bridges intact/ functional.

Bantayan / 16 NOV 13 PM / Significant-major damage / Numerous boats washed ashore. Damage to smaller buildings/ dwellings incl loss of roofing but not completely destroyed. What appears to be a sewage treatment works is damaged but functioning. Numerous trees felled. Port facilities intact and functioning. One jetty/ pier damaged but useable. Major roads appear open.

Dog Bone Island adjacent to Binuluagan / 16 NOV 13 PM / Major damage / 90% of buildings severely damaged/ completely destroyed. Numerous felled trees. Most, if not all, local boats destroyed.
Carnasa / 16 NOV 13 PM / Minor damage / Some buildings suffering minor damage but the majority intact/ unaffected. Major roads open. Fishing activity and pattern of life continuing.
North Cebu / 16 NOV 13 PM / Significant-major damage / Many buildings suffering significant damage. The more robust buildings remain intact but many of the smaller ones are missing roofs/ are mostly destroyed. Fishing activity continuing on the coast, roads open and port/ harbour facilities functioning. Evidence of aid distribution in the centre of the town with the population forming orderly queues.
Unnamed Island South East of Estancia / 16 NOV 13 PM / Significant-major damage / Numerous felled trees and boats washed ashore. Although some of the more robust buildings are intact, the vast majority have suffered significant damage and are missing roofing. Port/ harbour facilities damaged but functioning. One 100m approx vessel aground on its side with what appear to be crew signalling for assistance.
Gigante / 16 NOV 13 PM / Significant-major damage / Numerous felled trees. Although some of the more robust buildings are intact, the vast majority have suffered significant damage and are missing roofing. Boats washed ashore/ lying sunk offshore. Harbour/ jetty infrastructure in the south of the island is damaged but functioning for small boats.
Malapascua / 16 NOV 13 PM / Significant-major damage / Many buildings suffering significant damage. The more robust buildings remain intact but many of the smaller ones are missing roofs/ are mostly destroyed. Numerous small boats lying wrecked offshore. Telecommunications masts intact. Evidence of aid distribution.
Pande Azucar / 16 NOV 13 PM / Significant-major damage / Many buildings suffering significant damage. The more robust buildings remain intact but many of the smaller ones are missing roofing. Numerous small boats have been washed inland. Harbour severely damaged and unusable to all except small boars/ RIBs.
Sicogon Island / 16 NOV 13 PM / Significant- major damage / Significant damage to all except the most well constructed buildings. Numerous felled trees and boats washed ashore. One major road appears open and reconstruction efforts underway.
Guintacan Island / 16 NOV 13 PM / Major damage / Major damage to 70%+ of buildings many without roofs or destroyed in entirety. Massive amount of felled trees. Temporary dwellings overcrowded. The word “HELP” inscribed on both the beach and on open tarmac areas. Evidence of central gathering for distribution of aid/ organisation of reconstruction effort.
Masbate / 16 NOV 13 PM / Little - no damage / Minor damage to buildings. Most entirely intact. Roads open. Petrol station intact and functioning. Pier / jetty intact and functional. Abundant and unrestricted fishing activity.
