1.4   SUBMITTALS

A.   Submit under provisions of Section 01 30 00 - Administrative Requirements.

B.   Product Data: Manufacturer's data sheets on each product to be used, including:

1.   Preparation instructions and recommendations.

4.   Maintenance instructions.

1.5   QUALITY ASSURANCE

A.   Manufacturer Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years experience manufacturing site furnishings.

B.   Installer Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years experience assembling and installing site furnishings.

C.   Single Source Responsibility:

1.   Obtain each type and color of stone from a single source.

2.   Obtain each type and color of mortar, adhesive and grout from the same source.

1.6   DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING

A.   Store products in manufacturer's unopened packaging until ready for installation.

B.   Store and dispose of solvent-based materials, and materials used with solvent-based materials, in accordance with requirements of local authorities having jurisdiction.

1.7   SEQUENCING

A.   Ensure that locating templates and other information required for installation of products of this section are furnished to affected trades in time to prevent interruption of construction progress.

1.8   PROJECT CONDITIONS

A.   Maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, and ventilation) within limits recommended by manufacturer for optimum results. Do not install products under environmental conditions outside manufacturer's absolute limits.

2.2   MATERIALS GENERAL

A.   Aluminum: Alloy and temper recommended by aluminum producer and finisher for type of use and finish indicated; free of surface blemishes.

B.   Steel and Iron: Free of surface blemishes.

C.   Stainless Steel: Free of surface blemishes.

D.   Wood: Surfaced smooth on four sides with eased edges; kiln dried, free of knots.

E.   Greenwood: High-Density haintenance free wood substitute

1.   HDPE made from recycled material

2.   Resistant to corrosive substances, oil and fuels, insects, fungi, salt spray, and other environmental stresses.

3.   Does not absorb moisture.

4.   Will not rot, splinter, or crack.

F.   Anchors, Fasteners, Fittings, and Hardware: Manufacturer's standard, corrosion-resistant- coated or non-corrodible materials; commercial quality, tamperproof, vandal and theft resistant, concealed, recessed, and capped or plugged.

G.   Non-shrink, Non-metallic Grout: Premixed, factory-packaged, non-staining, noncorrosive, nongaseous grout complying with ASTM C 1107; recommended in writing by manufacturer, for exterior applications.
