RESOURCE PLAN / BUDGET: Throughout time, the DSU has directed your resource plan. In keeping with the Rehab Act, the Council is meeting to discuss and determine your own design of a resource plan and related budget for the needs of the membership.

You… have a big voice at the table - because of your disability, you interrupt others and generally try to dominate the conversation. As a 5th year Council member, you continue to strongly advocate that Centers for Independent Living should be more involved with the SRC and its functions.

You… are a person with low visionand a staunch advocate for the role of Transition in VR. From your perspective, Transition tends to get lost in the shuffle; you ask a lot of questions about how the SRC’s decisions will affect pre-vocational training and Transition services to youth.

You… are a CEO of an international corporation located in one of the major cities in your state/territory. You accepted this appointment as a favor to the governor, but you have no idea why you have to dedicate this much time. Your presence is arrogant and abrupt, never letting anyone forget that the governor is your friend.
