Italics / •I read a review of What I Saw and How I Lied in The New York Times.
•I like Gary Soto’s poem, “Baseball in April,” which is found in Living Up the Street.
•You should not do that! / •Italicize titles of long works, ships, books, newspapers, periodicals, movies, and television shows. Shorter works, or works found within other works, should be placed in quotation marks.
•Italicize when you want to really emphasize a word or words.
