Fee Proposal
All proposed fees must be inclusive of all overhead, personnel, administration, including, but not limited to photocopies, telephone and fax, travel, lodging, meals, and other travel-related costs. No additional fees or costs shall be considered. Please complete all fee proposal items.
Service Description / Total Firm Fixed PriceReview existing documentation regarding the Q-2 Police Officer classification and perform relevant literature review
Meet with DHR and SFPD representatives in San Francisco regarding planned job analysis activities and overall project plan
Observe Q-2 Police Officers at work in different Divisions and assignments and meet with PoliceAcademy staff (estimated one-week effort)
Develop and submit a sampling plan for the job analysis
Meet with DHR and SFPD representatives in San Franciscoto outline the project plan based on preliminary research
Develop and submita job analysis questionnaire that addresses the physical aspects of the job.
Conduct focus group meetings with officers and supervisors to review and revise the job analysis questionnaire.
Provide a final version of the job analysis questionnaire to DHR; DHR will administer the questionnaire in accordance with the sampling plan.
Analyze the job analysis questionnaire data and provide a linkage questionnaire to DHR; DHR will administer the questionnaire in accordance with the sampling plan.
Prepare and submit (in written and electronic form) a Q-2 police officer job analysis report clearly identifying the essential tasks, knowledge areas, and abilities required for successful performance on the job.
Meet with DHR and SFPD representatives in San Franciscoto present job analysis findings, appropriateness/validity of the current physical ability test,and recommendations
Develop physical performance test, conduct a criterion validity study, establish a scoring methodologycut score
Submit a candidate preparation manual
Submit an administrator instruction manual
Meet with DHR and SFPD representatives to present the results of the validation study and cut score analysis
Prepare and submit a final validation report
Support and respond to challenges regarding the validity and/or administration of the test (provide all inclusive hourly rate)
