PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE
US 90A: SH 6 to LP 762
PROPOSED DESIGN CHANGE AT US 90A AND SH 99
FORT BEND COUNTY, TEXAS
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will conduct a public meeting to discuss proposed improvements to US 90A from SH 6 to Loop 762 which consist of a proposed design change at US 90A and SH 99 in Fort Bend County, Texas. The existing facility at US 90A and SH 99 consists of a depressed, signalized interchange. The proposed design change includes a multi-level interchange. Additional right-of-way (ROW) would be required for the proposed design change. The purpose of this meeting is to present the proposed design and to gather public input.
This meeting will be structured in an open house format from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Brazos Bend Elementary School, 621 Cunningham Creek Blvd., Sugar Land, Texas, 77479. Exhibits will be displayed and representatives from TxDOT and their study team will be available to answer individual questions. Representatives from the TxDOT Right-of-Way Division will be available to discuss procedures, benefits, programs, and other needed information regarding land acquisition.
All interested citizens are invited to attend this meeting. Public comments are encouraged. Forms will be available to submit written comments, which should be postmarked by June 9, 2009 and sent to the Director of Project Development, Texas Department of Transportation, P.O. Persons who have special communication, access, or accommodation needs should contact the TxDOT office at (713) 802-5072 at least two working days prior to the meeting. TxDOT offices are open Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m., excluding national holidays. The public meeting will be conducted in English. Requests for language interpreters or other special communication needs should also be made at least two working days in advance of the meeting. TxDOT will make all reasonable efforts to accommodate these needs.
