Good morning / afternoon / evening, my name is...... (GIVE NAME AND PRESENT CREDENTIALS) and I work for German Technical Cooperation (GTZ). We are here today to conduct a household survey. We study the use of energy and cooking practises in 250 randomly selected households.
The survey will serve as the basis for future development projects carried out by GTZ. In order to make these projects as useful as possible to the local population we heavily depend on exact, truthful, and comprehensive information. Therefore it is necessary that we talk to the person with the most insight into the household.
All information provided by you will be handled fully confidentiallyand will not serve any other purpose but the household survey.
Given that certain questions concern cooking habits, these questionshave to beanswered by the person responsible for cooking.
Our questionnaire takes a maximum of 50 minutes to complete.
