SPECIFICATIONS OF AUTOMATED ANAEROBIC JAR SYSTEM

1.  Should be fully automated system to eliminate the human error.

2.  The anaerobic equipment should be able to produce Anaerobic and Micro- aerophilic condition in the jars, with capacity of up to 12 Petri dishes with reproducibility of +/- 0.5 % deviations.

3.  Should have different switches for anaerobic and micro aeorphilic functions.

4.  Should have quality assurance features to identify defective jars, catalysts, and no availability of gases before incubation of the jars.

5.  All controlled conditions like anaerobic and micro aerophilic should be reproducible and should stay within 0.5 % of the desired values.

6.  Should be fast to produce anaerobic and micro aerophilic conditions within 60 to 180 seconds.

7.  Should be able to work without any disposables, anaerobic kits and chemicals.

8.  Should keep the atmosphere of the jar with proper humidity to prevent drying and cross contamination.

9.  Should have cost effective operation: economical gas consumption and minimal maintenance.

10.  Be able to work with transparent jars of its own and with modified ordinary anaerobic jars.

11.  Should be a table top model and should be upgradable for programmability.

12.  Vacuum pump should be incorporated to the body of the equipment.

13.  Should be supplied with all accessories required to run the instrument like one gas cylinder, one pressure regulator, connection for jars, three anaerobic jars transparent for six petridish, three Petri dish holder SS for six petridish, three packs of catalyst and any other consumables or accessories required.

14.  The instrument should have anaerobic bottle filling system.

15.  Supplier should provide free( including cost of the gas and transport ) anaerobic mix gas refilling for two years from the date of installations irrespective of the no. of fillings during that period.

16.  The firm should provide five years warranty and five years free AMC of the instrument.

17.  The firm should provide rate list of all the consumables (like gas mixture etc.) and spare parts of the instrument along with the tender and should freeze the quoted rates for five years after the delivery of the system.

18.  The training of the staff should be provided on site by the company using their own reagents and consumables.

19.  The firm should have a team of well trained engineers who can provide the instrument service and maintenance same day support in Delhi.

20.  The firm should arrange for demonstration of instrument in Delhi and give performance report of the instrument with tender itself.
