This is the list (updated 8/2016) of all possible discounts, benefits and wellness resources available to you. Please let me know if you know of any other items to add. We are working on building a spot on the Virtue website for all wellness activities to live.

University of Colorado

Becolorado.org

  • Website that details the prevention opportunities at University of Colorado. You can find many of the resources I have listed on this website.
  • Details about the Move Program: $25/month quarterly payments for staying physically active. You can use fitbit, body media and garmin or the app on your phone.
  • Requirements for payment are: moderate to vigorous physical activity a minimum of 30 minutes or 10,000 steps in a day, 12 days/month.
  • Eligible People: University of Colorado, University of Colorado Health, and University Physicians, Inc. employees and retirees who are the primary member of a CU Health Plan (Exclusive, Kaiser, High Deductible/HSA Compatible, Extended, Medicare) are eligible.

Colorado State employees Benefit Hub

  • Website that you can enroll to receive benefits/discounts for all Colorado state employees (our university email address allows us to enroll) – car rental, cell phone, etccommunity and nationwide discounts
  • Use your university email address to enroll

Resilience Council website:

  • The Resilience Council was created to connect and coordinate all resilience efforts throughout University of Colorado School of Medicine Faculty, Residency and Fellowship Programs. We hope to offer resources, connections, and support for the resilience and well-being of all of our providers.
  • There is information about the Peer2Peer Program as well as online quizzes that can help you assess your own wellness.

The Colorado Physician Health Program (CPHP)

  • CPHP serves physicians, residents, medical students, physician assistants and physician assistant students with health problems, including medical conditions, psychiatric illnesses, substance abuse, and/or personal problems such as family difficulties, stress or career issues.
  • Nonprofit organization, independent of other medical organizations and the government.
  • If a person is “Known to CPHP,” meaning that CPHP has been informed of the health matter(s), the applicant has attended an initial appointment with CPHP for the behavior or condition and there is compliance with all of CPHP’s requirements for evaluation, treatment, and/or monitoring, the applicant may answer “No” to this question. This allows certain personal health matters to remain unknown to the CMB (Colorado Medical Board)
Residents and Fellows

The Campus Health Center offers mental health services for students, residents and fellows. Students, residents and fellows are seen daily from 9 AM - 7 PM and Saturday from 9 AM - 1 PM. There are walk-in hours daily from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM and 5 PM - 6 PM. Resident co-pay is $20 with the GME health benefits.

Faculty

Counseling and other services such as mediation are offered through the State of Colorado Employee Assistance Program (under C-SEAP menu, click on Services).
