1 RULES
1.1 The 2012-2016 U.S. Sailing Rules of Sailing apply.
2 ADVERTISING
2.1 Advertising will be Category C.
3 Winning the Cup
3.1 The skipper whom wins one of the 4 one-design or open classes will have his/her name engraved on the Kennedy Memorial Cup trophy:
Open Keel; Open Centerboard; Open Cat; A Class (newer racers)
4 FEES
4.1 The entry fee for this regatta is $55 per team and includes 1 BBQ tri-tip dinner for Saturday night. U.S. Sailing members will receive $5 off registration. Polo Shirts available on site.
5 RACING SERIES & SCHEDULE
5.0 A practice race will take place at 6:00 p.m. Friday the 15th
5.1 Two days of fleet racing will take place daily starting at 12:00 pm. On Saturday. A skippers meeting will take place at 11:00 a.m. on September 16th. Sunday skippers meeting at 11:00am, races start at 12:00noon.
5.2 Championship Awards Presentation Sunday September 17th after racing.
5.3 No races will be started after 16:30 each day.
6 SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
6.1 Sailing instructions will be available at the skippers meeting
7 VENUE
7.1 The venue will be at Brandy Creek Marina on the southeast side of Whiskeytown Lake fifteen miles west of Redding, CA. USA. Please note: a Daily $10 parking fee will apply to all not displaying a National Park Service Disabled Parking Pass.
8 COURSES
8.1 A course sheet will be available at the skippers meeting.
9 SCORING
9.1 The boat with the lowest score after the final race will win after compiling total scores from all races. Boats can throw out one race after 5 races have been completed.
