Proceeds to Benefit the RIVER TRAIL
The River Trail, a stunning urban recreational trail joining the two major cities in Arkansas, is rapidly being completed. Once finished, the 14 mile trail will extend 7 miles along the riverbanks of both Little Rock and North Little Rock and will cross the river on two bridges exclusively reserved for recreational use. Already extensively used by outdoor enthusiasts, it is destined to become one of the finest urban trails in the United States. Due to your support of this race, the Arkansas Running Klub has already contributed over $8000 for the installation of water fountains and restrooms along this wonderful, scenic route. A portion of the proceeds from this race will again be used to improve the River Trail.
From Little Rock, west on I-40 take exit 150 (Burns Park). Left at the stop sign, on Charles Boyer Dr. Right at the stop sign on to Military Dr. 2ndnd left at Fun Land Dr. Registration Dr Ratcliff pavilion next to the soft ball fields.
From Conway on I-40, Burns Park exit to Military Road. Turn left at the stop sign on to Military Road. Cross the interstate. Left on Fun Land Drive. Dr. Radcliff Pavilion.
The course is an oval loop around Fun Land, the baseball fields and the tennis courts as well as the softball complex, finishing on Burns Park Drive before crossing the interstate. /
