The mission of Sunnyvale ISD is to provide the highest quality education by creating life-long learners through comprehensive academic, athletic, cultural, and extra-curricular opportunities for the children of the community.
One: Sunnyvale ISD will provide instruction that meets the diverse needs of our students, through the use of TEKS-based curriculum, engaging research-based instruction, and integrated, technology-rich environments. Students will demonstrate academic growth and further develop communication, critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity skills.
Two:Sunnyvale ISD will promote a safe, secure, and orderly school environment by providing programs and resources which ensure appropriate physical, behavioral, and emotional development.
Three: Sunnyvale ISD will facilitate parental involvement and embrace student diversity in order to ensure a positive culture within the school and community. Teacher expectations, critical information, involvement opportunities, and district initiatives will be communicated in a clear, consistent manner.
Four:Sunnyvale ISD will practice recruitment of high-quality staff, monitor staff retention, and provide staff development which enhances professional growth. Teachers will gain necessary skills to provide engaging, research-based instruction that encourages critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity.
