Call to Order (8:00 PM)
Members in attendance included: Patricia Ybarra, Chase Bringardner; Henry Bial; Harvey Young; Scott Shattuck; Kathryn Edney, and Kelly Howe.

Approval of OC minutes from July 29 and October 22, 2015
Moved by Henry Bial. Seconded by Harvey Young.
Preview of the Budget
Scott Shattucks and Eric Ewald provided update of budget. One of the things they focused on was getting realistic with budgeting 2017 membership. Chicago is usually a bigger turn out. Really need to leverage location this year. Ewald encouraged membership campaign. The location lends itself for this type of focus. Webinar might be an opportunity to engage membership.Need to find ways to maintain membership—make it hard for them to leave.
Kelly Howe and Patricia Ybarra updated OC that Conference committee decided no Saturday night in house performance. Would like to use funding for plenary. Move $2,000 to plenary lines and to give some resources to BTN for their shared panels. Featured performance will be Lydia Diamond and Naomi Wallace. Wallace will offer comments, about labor materialism and theater. There will be one plenary on labor and the other plenary on diversity. BTN will beat the Palmer for most of the conference. ATHE will work to support them to be at the Palmer for joint day.
Also need to allocate funds for a graphic designer. The theme for this year raises issues of representation and using stock image might not work.
Investment of unused $66,000 set-aside for management transition
Can the unused $66,000 set-aside for management be used towards adjunct initiative? Scott Shattuck suggests to either invest fiscally or invest in strategic initiative. Adjunct Labor initiative Committee had a consultation with Ithaca. The work that has been done by Ithaca is in line with the way the consultant company would have done it. ATHE will need approximately $30,000 for adjunct labor initiative. Motion for discussion that $30K be used from $66K. Moved by Patricia Herrera. Seconded by Scott Shattuck. Consensus from OC for this motion. Will take it to the GC. A line will be added for Adjunct initiative to keep track of expense.
Conference Location for 2018
Brainstorming about conference site for 2018. Think about high yield siteA place where people want to go to because of art scene and other entertainment.
