Course Content: In this course, you will learn about the key components and procedures needed to install, configure, and manage the Cisco Nexus 7000, 5000, and 2000 Series switches and MDS Series switches in the network and SAN environment.
Our enhanced Cisco labs include extra exploration, configuration, and troubleshooting with a focus on NX-OS-specific features. Labs for this course are based on:

Course Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to:
Ø Cisco Unified Fabric products in a Cisco data center network architecture
Ø Select and configure the distinctive Cisco Nexus Series switch features to meet the implementation requirements and expectations in the Cisco data center architecture
Ø Configure advanced features, such as Overlay Transport Virtualization (OTV), Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS), Locator/ID Separation Protocol (LISP), security, and quality of service (QoS)
Ø Management tools available for the Cisco Nexus switches and how to configure the relevant management tool to support the given design
Ø Fibre Channel protocol, the Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) protocol, and the Data Center Bridging (DCB) enhancements
Ø Configure FCoE on the Cisco Nexus 5000, Nexus 7000, MDS Series, and Nexus 5500 Series switches
Prerequisites:
Ø CCNA Data Center certification is recommended
Ø Understanding of and experience with the Fibre Channel protocol and the SAN environment
Ø ICSNS - Implementing Cisco Storage Network Solutions or equivalent experience
