Read the passage given below and answer the questions.

On 10th April, the largest and finest luxury ship in the world sailed from Southampton in England to New York. She was called the Titanic and it was her first voyage. She was crossing the Atlantic and carrying more than two thousand people. The Titanic was like a floating town.
From outside, the Titanic was as tall as a building with fifteen floors. Inside, it was like a large hotel. There were grand staircases, dining rooms, shops and swimming pools.
The journey was very comfortable. The people talked, laughed and enjoyed themselves. They were happy and proud because they were travelling in the best ship in the world. Captain Smith and his crew worked hard to keep everybody comfortable. For four days the Titanic sailed smoothly like a swan. Then came April 14th.
The night was cold, the sky was clear and the sea was calm. Most of the passengers were already asleep. Time ticked on Eleven ten.....Eleven twenty.....Eleven forty! On top of the ship, the man who kept watch suddenly saw something. He grew cold with fear. An iceberg stood right in the path of the Titanic. It was as huge as a mountain.
For a minute the man did not know what to do! Then he called the engine room. The captain and his crew fought hard to steer the ship away from the iceberg but it's side scraped the mountain of ice. There was a big shower of ice on the decks. There were also big holes along the ship's side. Water began to pour into the engine room and lower decks. The crew understood that the ship was in great danger. They began sending radio signals: ''HELP.....STRUCK AN ICEBERG'.
By now, all the passengers had got up. Captain Smith began to give orders. ''Lower the lifeboats! Passengers please wear your life jackets and come on the deck''.
