TEACHING ASSISTANT – at DIGBY Church of England Primary School
Monday – Friday ~ Term time only – 39 weeks per academic year
Pay Grade G3 (£15,807- £17,419 pro rata and equated. £9.32 - £10.17 per hour)
To start in January 2018. Approx. 25 hours per week.
Our schools are small, friendly and successful village schools. We have a caring ethos and a supportive staff team, with well-behaved children. The schools in the Spires Federation work closely together and there is a possibility that you may be expected to conduct some duties, on occasion, at another site.
We are looking for an experienced teaching assistant at Digby who is committed to maintaining our high standards and aspirations for all pupils. You will mainly be
working in our Years 4,5 and 6 class but you may be required to work in other classes on occasion.
The successful candidate for the above post will have a nurturing and supportive nature with good behaviour management strategies and must be a team-player who is flexible and positive at all times. Previous experience of working in the primary school environment is essential together with GCSE Grades A* to C in English and Mathematics and a related NVQ 2 or equivalent.
