Sentry II WLS Conversion
This is to help you replace the discontinued Cams Motor system Models 42.14; 42.15; 42.21 and 42.22. The Cams Motor was capable of lifting a 140 pound sash. The Sentry II WLS is able to lift a 80 pound sash. The Sentry II HS is able to lift a 160 pound sash. For a sash up to 80 pounds, you will need to purchase:

1. Remove existing motor and base plate from the skylight and switch from wall.
2. Install manual skylight opener. Make sure the unit opens the skylight with no problems before proceeding to next step.
3. Follow installation instructions that came with WLS System to mount the motor to the manual operator and wire in the control switch. You will only need to use two of the three wires from the old system that ran from the wall switch to the motor.
For a sash 80-160 pounds, you will need to purchase:

1. Remove existing motor and base plate from the skylight and switch from wall.
2. Follow installation instructions that came with HS System to mount the motor to the window. You will need to have 120VAC run directly to the motor on the window.
3. To control the HS system you will need either the RF Remote, part number 43.53.00.001, or a wall switch, part number 12539. The wall switch will need additional wiring.
