MINUTES OF THE BUILDING CODE BOARD OF APPEALS HEARING HELD AUGUST 8, 2017 AT 1:00 P.M. IN THE TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT CONFERENCE ROOM, SOUTH BUILDING, CITY HALL

Chairperson Gazall called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m.

  1. MOTION TO RECOGNIZE THE SECRETARY

A motion to recognize James Anderson as Secretary to the Board was made by Jeff Chappell and supported by Joe Perez. Motion carried unanimously.

  1. MOTION TO RECOGNIZE THE BUILDING INSPECTOR

A motion to recognize Chad Zudel as the Building Official was made by Joe Perez and supported by Jeff Chappell. Motion carried unanimously.

  1. MOTION TO RECOGNIZE THE STANDARD MOTION

A motion to recognize the “Standard Motion” was made by Jeff Chappell and supported by Joe Perez. Motion carried unanimously.

Secretary’s Note: Explanation of the Standard Motion for Demolition.

The Standard Motion as referred to in the balance of the minutes of this Hearing was authorized in the Resolution by this Board on March 6, 1974 to be shortened as a simple reference to the “Standard Motion” as it applied to demolition cases.

  1. MOTION TO RECOGNIZE THE PREAMBLE TO THE STANDARD MOTION

A motion to recognize the Preamble to the Standard Motion was made by Joe Perez and was supported by Jeff Chappell. Motion carried unanimously.
