Read the book. Complete a book report using the outline on the back of this sheet. Turn the report in to your English teacher the first week of school, even if you do not have English until 2nd semester. The book report is graded based on the specific details given. Please follow the outline. Book reports may be typed or written by hand.
**** Note to Students and Parents:
The English department is not trying to ruin students’ summer vacations. Just the opposite – we want students to find pleasure in reading. No other activity builds thinking skills like reading. Have a good summer, but take some time to enjoy a good book. Be a reader for life.

You will receive credit for the report provided your report is well written and shows you read and understood the book.
