Purpose:To develop an understanding of the basic functions of six computer application programs consisting of keyboarding, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations

Presentation (PowerPoint)
Preparing a PowerPoint Presentation

Adding Animation to Presentations
Tips for Presenting a PowerPoint slide show to your audience.
Coding
Students will use various coding software packages to learn how to make videos including Alice, Scratch, etc.

PBIS Guidelines:

- Be Safe use Materials appropriately
No Cell Phones, MP3, IPODS, etc in class at any time!!!
Consequences:Disruptions in the classroom will not be tolerated. Disruptions and misbehavior will be handled according to the student handbook. These consequences may include:

Make Up Policy:Upon the student’s return to class with an excused absence, he or she will be given a reasonable period of time to make up all work as noted in the school student handbook. Exceptions will be made only for extended, excused absences. Those students with unexcused absences will be given zeros for any missed assignments. No make up work will be accepted the last week of the grading term. Long term projects are due on the assigned date with no exceptions. Make up work must be done by prior arrangement. Please let me know one day in advance that you are coming in for makeup work. Tests and presentations must be made up with prior notice.
