Armstrong Flooring Product Highlights from the International Builders Show Floor

Lancaster, Pa., January 19 – Armstrong Flooring will be showcasing its breadth of offerings, featuring an array of innovation in product and installation technology at IBS 2016,Booth #C6937, Las Vegas, NV.

Resilient Sheet:

New in 2016: Choose Your Design. Choose Your Structure. Two Stepis the new sheet collection launching in Februaryby Armstrong, with 56 new designs split between urethane and non-urethane collections. This new selection of vinyl sheet styles is designed to harmonize with current finishes in new construction,renovation, and rental projects. A full assortment of wood and stone visuals are available in three unique structures for builder and property management, including lightweight and flexible Flexstep™ (fiberglass), durable StrataMax® hi-performance vinyl (limestone) and Initiator™/Station Square™ (traditional felt). These are floors that will perform, be easy to clean and easy to repair. Two Step is manufactured in the United States at Armstrong facilities in Stillwater, OK and Lancaster, PA.

Hardwood:

Armstrong® Artistic Timbers™ hardwood includes two new collections - TimberCuts™ solid and TimberBrushed™ engineered floors. TimberCuts™ hardwood, a modern reflection of historic craftsmanship, is crafted from premium lumber and showcases authentically applied sawn marks with dramatic flair. For weathered charm that never goes out of style, TimberBrushed™ hardwood features texture that highlights the natural richness and deep grain of white oak, in 10 striking colors. Armstrong brings the premium wood trend into the mainstream in two stunning, low maintenance collections that will make a striking style statement in any home.

Laminate:

Armstrong takes laminate flooring design to new heights with itsArchitectural Remnants™ Laminate Wall. Popular Architectural Remnants™ styles, including Woodland Reclaim, To the Sea, Seaside Pine and Surf Side – are perfectfor both floors and walls. They pair the exquisite look of high-end, reclaimed hardwoods with various species and colors and realistic rustic textures. True reclaimed woods are usually not readily available and are often impractical – or unaffordable – to most homeowners.Available in February 2016, installation instructions and an installation video also will be available online.

Nineteen wood and stone designs in thick, sturdy planks are integrated with a rigid composite core and backed with an acoustic cork underlayment. Fast and simple locking technology secures the planks together and beautifully hides minor subfloor irregularities.
