Public Health agencies may have several main contacts for an organization they work with. For example, DPC may have a specific person they contact for IPI visits and C&TC may have a clinic manager they contact to schedule their annual visit. Currently, Organizations has an owner, a manager, and an emergency contact that are entered as clients, multiple phone numbers, one email address and a large textbox for comments. Community Events has the ability to put in multiple phone numbers (but not more than one name), one email address and a large text box for Emergency Contacts. We would like to request an enhancement to the Contact Tab in Organizations and Community Events to allow for improved contacts management. We would like to be able to put more than one contact name, phone number and email address in with a small description area to describe the contact and be able to run a report for the Organization's or Community Event's contacts. We would also like to show history of the contacts as well (allowing options to include or exclude inactive contact information).

Reason: Who will benefit? What is the purpose? What are the efficiencies?

All Public Health agencies who need a way to manage multiple contacts for organizations and for community events will benefit of this. The purpose of this enhancement is to improve communication about contacts between units within a department. Efficiencies include streamlining and improving contacts lists, reduce duplicate contacting of providers, and improved accuracy of contact lists.
